The Classic Storage Jar
Looks good and does just what it is supposed to do. Good quality too. Easy to dismantle and wash all of the individual bits.

Excellent
This arrived in double quick time wrapped in so much bubble wrap it would have had no chance of breaking. Good stuff. This Kilner jar is smaller than I expected but that's my fault (or my husbands for telling me I didn't need a larger one). I want to use this for preserving lemons so I might have to buy another one.... no problem, at this price, a real bargain!

Dangerous glass
I have bought 4 of these jars and on 2 of them the glass has broken due to weakness of the strength of the glass at the clip. The first one i did not notice immediately which was extremely dangerous as it contained white sugar and would therefore be difficult to see the small pieces of glass that had landed inside when the glass had broken.Please be very careful if you intend to purchase a jar of this nature that it is designed using the correct strength of glass as these items are not and so considerably dangerous to use.

Looks good but not air tight unless you are a master at seals that move.
Look lovely and keep dry goods dry. But the seal is a bit finicky so not ideal for a perfect air tight seal.

Nice jar, seal and mechanism are very good
Nice jar, seal and mechanism are very good. However, after a year, the glass around the wire mechanism cracked - it seems the quality of the glass isn't always great (this is just one of my 3 jars however). If you're after a long life, robust jar perhaps buy something more expensive.

le parfait is much better quality than the cr*p in the cheap shops where ...
tight seals, consistent quality, lasts a lifetime (though you will need to replace the rubbers every 5 to 7 years or so); le parfait is much better quality than the cr*p in the cheap shops where the metal attachments simply do not last long.

Enttäuscht!
Nachdem mein altes Einweckglas von "Le Parfait" nach sehr vielen Jahren der Nutzung abgesplittert ist (der Rand auf dem die Spange aufsitzt), habe ich mir sofort ein neues Glas bestellt.Leider ist dieses nach etwa zwei Monaten der täglichen Nutzung (1* auf- und zumachen pro Tag) ebenfalls gesplittert.Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, da ich "Le Parfait" als Qualitätsprodukt in Erinnerung hatte.
