This didn't work for me, but it doesn't mean it works work for you!! I needed the black plastic hanger to be wider to fit on the metal bar in my filing cabinet. That may not be an issue for you!! They were definitely easy to use, and would be easy to shorten-- if you had access to the right saw blade. They looked durable if you had a reasonable expectation of weight. You might want to just try them out!!

These are very sturdy replacements for our broken support. Only problem was that the rod was too long and we had to use a hacksaw to shorten it. I'd recommend the company score one of the ends so that it would be easier to take off the unnecessary length.

Does not fit in all cabinets

Worked perfect. I had to cut the length down a little for our file cabinets.
