According to the box "phosphorus 0.12%". Hope this helps - It's one my 15 year old oriental cat with kidney and thyroid problems likes! Since being on a renal function diet - this plus other purina varieties his kidney function has improved.

How easy is this for a cat to eat with poorly teeth who can't eat chunks very well?

It does come in chunks with gravy, but how easy those chunks are to eat with bad teeth, I don’t know. My elderly cat has had all his back teeth removed and he eats everything including biscuits with no trouble. Unfortunately, he refused to eat this food - he didn’t like the smell of it so he didn’t even try it! Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Why is this called 'salmon' when salmon appears below other meats in the ingredients list? Also, in the description, it says the flavour is chicken!

If the package is pink the flavour is Salmon. If the package is yellow the flavour is Chicken. I have been feeding my cat these for over a year.

Is this meaty or in chunks ?

Hi its the same as Royal Canin Renal that i use. so an 1/8" x 1/4". oblong pieces by say 1/16" deep. Mine prefers tuna or chicken. But tried this and seemed ok. But it didnt replace so I went back to RC. It was more fluidy tho. Which my cat likes. Because of his ailment I now mix with these soups you can get to give extra moisture. I have stopped with dry.
