Like all good to great ideas such an ( apparently ) simple design. But oh so very convenient . Post cataract ( opted for single lens - in photography speak prime lens - long distance ) Ergo close up require assistance and these fit the bill admirably. No more leaving the supermarket to go to car for glasses. Simply attached to lanyard , fished out of pocket and in single movement slid out of protective case ( glasses that is , not car ) and used. To date - post 5 months - fit, comfort top notch. Scratch resistance effectively negated by the small convenient case that houses the lenses. Thank you very much.

Very light and compact glasses. Great customer service from The Body Doctor. I had an issue with the glasses which was resolved extremely quickly and to my satisfaction. Would highly recommend seller.

Feels a little flimsy, but does do the job. Once fell out of the case, but I think that was down to me perhaps not putting it in correctly. Though not sure. Good in an emergency, but don't think it replaces the need to carry around reading glasses if you need them. So because they feel delicate not quite sure how to treat them. Lifetime guarantee offered for free replacement glasses. Registered via email with my details and got a confirmation, though it did take some time. I might be doing them a disservice, I don't know at this time. I think I would be happier if like a spare had been included. Then I would be a bit rougher with them and put them through their paces a little more.

I only used these twice. It’s a good idea and you can put them on your key ring which I did. But they broke after the 2nd time I’d used them.

After cataract surgery in both eyes my vision went back to 20/20 but for detail work not so much, so I needed to test out some cheaters. My wife had a pair of folding reading glasses she gave me but even folded up the case is too bulky to carry around. Enter ThinOPTICS in the sliding keychain case. As long as they're handled on the outside of the frame, cleaned with a dot of Dawn, rinsed and shaken dry, they stay nice and clean. It's a little tricky getting them back in the case at first but once figured out it's real easy. Just let the mechanism do its job without forcing it. These are remarkably light and stay put even in Texas heat. They're perfect when out and about because attached to your keychain they're always right with you at restaurants and stores where you only need them for temporary use. This is a wonderful product..

I migliori occhiali da lettura o da operazioni di emergenza, il primo paio lo uso nel gilet da pesca da tre anni oramai ed è ancora utilizzabile bene. Comodo, piccolo e leggero, se ha resistito ad oltre quattrocento uscite di pesca in torrente, non dovrebbe aver problemi per un uso più normale.... Preso il secondo paio anche per mia moglie, la struttura è rimasta uguale così come la custodia. Prodotto che funziona, non si cambia! Ottimo rapporto qualità/funzionalità/prezzo. Gibo

UPDATE: After this pair broke, I ended up buying the ThinOptics that come with the Universal Pod. Those glasses are different: the part that holds on to your nose is no longer the metal strips, it is plastic that is now attached at the top and bottom of the strip. They also did not look like the original glasses that came with the Keychain Case: the lens frames are a uniform thickness, where it looks like the Keychain glasses had a slight taper which would help them overlap when they fold up. I was hoping the Universal Pod ones would fit into the Keychain Case, but because of the difference I did not want to try it and end up ruining the new glasses. It is now 1 year after I bought the Universal Pod ThinOptics and they are still intact. I still miss being able to wear them around my neck, so I contacted ThinOptics through their website to see if I could just buy the glasses without the Keychain Case. They said if I send a picture of the broken ones then they would send a replacement at no cost. Luckily, I did still have them lying around for some reason, and after receiving the picture ThinOptics immediately sent out new, replacement glasses for free, not even a charge for shipping. I am now changing my previous 2 star rating to 5 stars. Will update if there are problems with the new glasses. UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I received the new replacements - they are the newer style and are exactly the same as the ones I have that came in the Universal Case with the plastic, attached at both ends nose-pieces. They also fit in the keychain case. I have them around my neck again and am a very happy customer :) ---- OLD REVIEW: I removed the keyring part, put a smaller ring on the case, and made a necklace with these. I also sanded off the logo. Because of that, they were incredibly convenient as a cool-looking necklace that I can wear when I leave the house. Other than that, the reviews are all true: - It takes some fiddling to get them to stay on your nose, but it is manageable. The best way is to bend them outwards and let them grab your nose - there were 2 places on my nose where they would stay on. They fall off if you wiggle your nose or sneeze. - The metal nose pieces broke off. The first one about a month after I bought them, the 2nd many months later. They are less comfortable and leave marks on your nose without them, but they are still usable. - They broke completely yesterday, the springy bridge part snapped into a few pieces. I did use them a lot while they lasted and now I'm deciding whether I want to replace them or just try something else. If they were cheaper I would just replace the glasses and still use with my case, but for $20 I might try something more comfortable and durable.
