Very solid build quality - cleanly and securely corrects Samsung's lame-o design flaw
There are times when you pay a good chunk of change for a top-name something-something, and assume that this something-something has all of the bells and whistles that come standard on similar, but lesser-known, items. Such was the case when I purchased the curved Samsung CF591 27" monitor. While I remain thrilled with its sleek looks, its vibrant picture and overall build, why Samsung couldn't find a spot on the back of the monitor -- on its vast horizon of empty space -- for 4 little mounting holes (a mere 75mm apart) that would give this monitor VESA compliance, is beyond me.I recently purchased an adjustable monitor arm for a varidesk (sit-stand desk), so that I won't have to set the Samsung monitor on a shoe box to get it in line with my eyes (I'm 6'3") when the desk is in the standing position. The adjustable arm works great -- damn shame that I couldn't put my top-of-the-line monitor on it.Thankfully, there are companies that build adapters. I had originally purchased one from a different company, but that company shipped a unit that didn't have the mounting hardware, so I returned it and stumbled on the Gladiator Joe model, from Canada. I couldn't be happier. While the other (returned) model used a U-bolt to clamp the monitor to the adapter, Gladiator Joe affixed a mounting peg (identical to the one that came with the Samsung base) to its steel base, as you can see in the pictures. The result is awesome. The monitor snaps down satisfyingly onto the Gladiator Joe adapter, the laser cut of the steel is smooth, and the fit appears and feels extremely secure. In a way, I'm glad that Samsung didn't include a VESA adapter, because it's doubtful that theirs would have been of comparable quality to this one.

Great Bracket for Samsung
I finally got a nice desk and decided to go with a dual monitor set up, but the Samsung CF591 monitors I wanted don't use normal VESA brackets. Thankfully I came across these adapters, which have worked great with the mounting stand I ordered. They fit without an issue into the bottom of my monitors and connected easily with the normal brackets on my mounting stand.Pros:These mounts are sturdy and do what they are supposed to do.Cons:None.

Probably the best adapter on the market
This adapter is almost perfect. I own two 27" model CF591 Samsung curve monitors. They are super gorgeous and I am so happy with the monitors. Most newer models of curve monitors have this single mounting fixture in the back and they don't have 4 holes on the back to fix a mounting plate to the back of it to use with a wall mount or some type of adjustable mount. My guess is this is for balance and weight distribution and to prevent damage to cruve-style monitors.I bought the 2 monitors and spent about a week trying to set up the docking station and the armatures and the mount adapter for the screens. These adapters fit and are almost perfect, they are almost exactly what I needed. The notch on the side of the adapter is on the wrong side, the opposite side is notched on the monitor stand that comes with the monitor. I am sure if the adjustable strut were to sink or droop, the fit of the monitor on the adapter would not be tight enough to hold the weight of the monitor and prevent it from falling off the adapter. The adapter does not have the same, satisfying, secure sounding definitive click sound that the factory mount makes. Probably because the notch is on the wrong side.It is reasonably secure and I have confidence in this mount, otherwise I would not use it and would not risk my monitors. I'm sure the design of the adapter could be slightly improved by adding a brace or clamp to hold the peg of the monitor onto the adapter. Barring some type of unusual accident, I don't believe the monitor would fall off the adapter.Installation was easy. This seems to be the best adapter available and I do like it a lot, but due to the notch not being on the correct side, I am concerned that if something unusual were to happen, the screen and adapter would succumb to gravity and the screen would slide off the adapter.

Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money with this productThis is the second time I order this product with them , because the first one broke.Material is very bland, cheap and fragile. It’s not hard plastic. Much less solid .It’s those plastic from the 3D printing machines and the quality just do not resist the weight of the monitorHere’s a picture of the second one I just got this Saturday.Waste of money and time (plus damaging my monitor)0 stars

Heavy duty monitor stand adapter
It’s extremely sturdy, a bit on the heavy side so make sure your monitor stand can handle it. I had to drill the holes a bit bigger, but that was because it didn’t perfectly align with where I wanted it on my stand. It only has 4 holes, so if you have a monitor stand like mine which has more options then be ready to drill if you are particular as I am. Overall, this heavy piece can withstand whatever you throw at it. Great overall!

Failure over time...
The media could not be loaded. It worked quite well upon initial purchase in 2020 of October. But as time went on, I would notice that it would droop and sag as time went on as I had made my moves over the several years. I have had these items. I highly recommend using steel on steel rather than PLA or whatever plastic this is made out of.
