ALIDA SYSTEMS2m ADSL Cable - Premium Quality/Gold Plated Contact Pins/High Speed Internet Broadband/Router or Modem to RJ11 Phone Socket or Microfilter/White

Looking around for a decent quality cable for my router which had a broken RJ11 end and so this fit the bill perfectly. However, I made a mistake when ordering this item as I didn't realize that both ends were RJ11 and thus you required a micro filter or a direct RJ11 connection in your telephone wall socket in order to make use of it. This was completely my fault as looking back over the product description clearly indicated that this was the case. So, not able to make use of this cable so why the review? Well, the cable itself is of quality construction, that's clear but I thought I should also point out that my interactions with the seller before I realized my own mistake was nothing but helpful and there's a value in good customer service in itself

Does what it should, doesn’t really increase your speed at all but does allow more flexibility on location of the router but still connect to the master socket. I did see a little bit of increase on upload speed but that may have just been BT doing something. Overall good quality. Will update this review after few weeks of use.

I've recently been upgrading/replacing the aging cabling (& hardware) for my entire broadband/home network. The ADSL cable supplied with my new router was too short & this was a decent option with positive feedback.The cable is as described & it is indeed good quality. (The ADSL cable I was previously using was installed years ago for BT's Home Highway (ISDN) service that I had before broadband became available. It was much thicker than this cable but it had been rerouted several times over the years & externally it was showing signs of wear). On connecting this new cable I immediately saw a small increase in speed which was certainly welcomed. Obviously, they're not moulded but the connectors have been firmly attached. They are reliable & they are well made overall. The connectors fit & lock firmly into the sockets. The release clips are thicker & sturdier than many others I've seen over the years too. I also have a 10 metre length of one of these Alida Systems ADSL cables which is also well made too.Supplied in basic packaging. I'm very happy with the cable & I'd certainly purchase more if required in the future for myself or friends/family. I'd happily recommend it & rate at 5/5.

I bought this item to provide the extra range I required to move my BT hub closer to my desk so that I could use ethernet instead of wifi. The cable itself is durable and robust and the connectors seem strong enough to put up with general wear and tear. I have noticed no drop in internet speed despite the length of cable which can often be an issue with very long cable so I can't find a single fault with this product. I would thoroughly recommend this item to provide additional options for placing your router.

Bought this as a replacement cable, which turned out to be a very poor decision on my behalf. Since connecting the cable to my SKY internet it has dropped the internet speed a considerable amount, this was not the case before installing this cable, as I just updated my SKY broadband to the second best package SKY had to offer. Before I fitted the 'Alida Systems ® - 20m ADSL Cable' my family and I were able to stream videos in full HD, on multiple devices and tablets throughout our home and play online via the PlayStation 4 without major disruption. However, after installing 'Alida Systems ® - 20m ADSL Cable' and running a internet speed test through Google these were the results:1.38Mbps download2.00Mbps uploadLatency: 157 msServer: LondonYour Internet speed is very slowYour Internet download speed is very slow. Web browsing should work, but videos could load slowly.I advise you NOT to purchase this item and invest your money in another product better suited to do it's job.

I bought this in order to place the router BT had installed before we moved in to a more central location in the house, as the master socket is located in a corner of one room downstairs and the signal was not reaching the diagonally opposite corner upstairs. I was unsure whether adding 15 m from my BT Hub master socket to the relocated BT hub in the middle of the house would result in a drop in wifi signal. I tested all downstairs and upstairs corners of the house using speedtest.net. All corners were about the expected 50-51 Mbps over the 5 GHz network and about 47-48 over the 2.4 GHz network, apart from the upstairs far corner where it was a meagre 7 Mbps. After re routing this adsl cable through the wall and coving and retesting all rooms including the poor ones were giving a full 50-51 signal. Perfect exactly what I was trying to achieve. So although tis cable is flimsy and very thin it actually does work! Amazing. Very happy customer.

I purchase the 10m cable, and can confirm that it is a top quality product. Often with these low price items you are unsure of the quality, but this was reassuringly good quality cable. The connections were both terminated properly, and I've installed it in a remote location with no issues. Once you start going beyond 5m the quality becomes a real factor in your connection speed, so pleased to report that this was a success

Had anew new DSL LJU installed and needed to long line the router from one side of the room to the other. And this cable saved the day. No loss in speed or service showed this to be a quality cable ablsolutely no complaints up to now.
