Yes as other reviewers have said it is flimsy and the plastic cover always cracks and wears out due to the Wind and Sun. Its frame is also not that study so you do need to use the included plastic twine and metal spikes to hold it down (the plastic twine eventually breaks under wind stress so buy replacement string from local DIY shop). However, its size fits our Garden space just right and at this price we happily replace it every year and it does an excellent job.

Cheap and cheerful for a festival but isn't well built and can't withstand bad weather. But it's cheap and you get what you pay for.

In it's basic form, a well designed basic structure. Ideal for those long summer days, without a breath of wind and not a cloud in the sky. However I bought it in Autumn when the weather is unpredictable as a shelter for garden birds, so it needed modifying. Quick and easy to assemble. First, all the joins and connections were taped up, so they would'nt open if the structure moved. then the plastic cups on the feet were discarded and replaced by long stakes driven into the groundand taped to the legs, to aid stability, likewise the wire skewers supplied, for the guide ropes were replaced by stakes. Lastly, to help avoid it being blown away, a tarpaulin sheet was attached to the inside of the canopy and a weight placed in the centre, to make an inverted roof, so any wind will be diverted around and away from the canopy. It's coped well (so far) ! A value for money item ,well worth considering.

These Gazebos are good for light use. Very very easy to build and all parts present. The metal joints of the poles are weak though and two poles split after day 2. They will not withstand any wind over 10mph but did stop the rain. Ensure a snug fit to avoid ponding as they would not take the weight of water ponding on the roof. For a day event good, if you want long term then spend another £100plus.

Do not buy. waste of money. did not last 24 hours. strapped it down also put leg weights on legs to make sure it was not going to blow away with any sort of wind, but after a little wind the whole thing just bent.

Worked really well even in the rain. I thought it would be a one use item but we have packed it back up for another day. Worth the money.

One of the poles was incorrect; correct length but no holes to hook the canopy leg hooks into.We assembled it in the garden anyway and just cable tied the one canopy leg to the pole instead - which was just as secure as hooking it in and remained intact.It then blew down in less than a day.The weather was what the MET office describe as a “moderate breeze” and it was in a very sheltered enclosed garden.I’ve bought cheap gazebos before but the build quality of this one is the poorest I’ve seen.The poles are incredibly thin and bend easily, this and the fact the plastic joints are so soft means the whole structure just warps and collapses in the wind.Gave it two stars as the seller communication has been good.Returning for a refund.
