After recently starting to collect a lot of trinket and things to do with Japan or Egypt, this mask is an excellent addition to my collections. The product has a nice finish and is surprisingly quite weighty which in my opinion is a plus as it isn’t flimsy at all. The finish from afar looks like it could be solid bronze and up close is really well finished. It’s roughly the size of a persons face and has a clasp on the back with a hole perfect to hang on the wall with a single nail. 5/5 can’t wait to buy the other mask available.

Really pleased with this! Enough to write my first review! Lovely quality, good weight. Would be nice if it was a bit bigger but that’s a small concern. If you love Japanese culture/art and are thinking of buying this, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased this for my daughter who has Noh mask tattoos and she loves it. It's much more substantial and better quality than I was expecting. I liked it so much, I bought another for myself.

When I first saw this I thought it lo be slightly comical, with the large ears etc. but that is looking at it through Western eyes. This mask is a staple of Japanese theatre. The "Hannya" is based, in this case, on feminine demonic energy and is associated with jealousy and rage. The aesthestics are a bit strange to us but as a cultural piece it is designed to accentuate female beauty into something ugly and distorted.The finishing is first class. It is weighty and well packaged.
