Is it an improved and newly launched version (post Jan 2018) ?

The capsules are smaller in size but seem to be as effective as the previous version.

Are these suitable for vegans?

Hi there, I'm afraid this particular product isn't. It is vegetarian, but also one of the OptiBac Probiotics range that may contain tiny traces of dairy. Some of our probiotic strains are originally cultured on a basis of organic dairy & soy before being extracted; therefore not recommended for those who are strictly vegan or allergic to dairy.The whole range is suitable if you are lactose intolerant. However, if you are strictly allergic to dairy then it's recommended that you stick to For every day, For every day EXTRA Strength, For those on antibiotics, Bifidobacteria & fibre, For women or Saccharomyces boulardii, all of which are officially & completely vegan.
