1st Coros watch and not disappointed. Great battery and charges in no time at all. Completed 1st run using a saved map, never needed the map as race was signposted but alarm if I went "astray" was handy. Lots of stats (more than I'll likely need) and easy app to use. lots of good features. it's not the most expensive or gadget focused but it's a good fitness watch with good battery and the most comfy strap (sometimes forget I'm.wearing it). No issues so if you fancy a change then why not try a Coros.

The body of the watch is a nice and simple style. The buttons aren't bulky but help it to conform to a traditional watch appearance. It is very light and low profile.My only complaint is the strap is exceptionally ugly in contrast to the watch face, see pics. It has "#ExplorePerfection" written across the webbing in great big white letters. 🤮

My Apex was deactivated by Coros in a recall but although I completed the recall form 4 weeks ago a replacement was not providedSupport service has mot responded to email from 4 days ago.Now I have not running watch

Montre intéréssante aux premiers abords mais :1. l'application ne fonctionera pas sans internet, il faut envoyer en permanences les données sur les serveurs de Coros (entreprise chinoise) faute de quoi l'application ne fonctionne pas.Il est pas possible par exemple de courrir une heure, synchroniser la montre alors que tu est dans la montagne ou ca capte pas et de regarder tes perfs.De la même manière, si tu veux regarder une course que tu as faites il y a 2 semaines, synchronisé depuis mais à ce moment t'as pas de réseau: tu peux pas.Pour info, Garmin c'est la même. y a que Polar qui ait pensé à ça.2. la précision des mesures est hasardeuse (je reste gentil), pour ce qu'il en est de la variabilité de la fréquence cardiaque c'est completement inutilisable (j'ai comparé à une polar vantage v3 et à un capteur de fréquence cardiaque h10, le top), pour la fréquence cardiaque en faisant du sport ça marche plutot bien pour la course, nul pour le vélo, renforcement et tout les autres sports ou il y a un peu de tension sur l'avant bras. la précision du sommeil: du même niveau que la variabilité de la fréquence cardiaque (impossible de le corriger après s'etre reveille), la mesure du 'stress' se base elle aussi sur la variabilité de la fréquence cardiaque donc nul.3. l'écran est illisible si tu n'es pas en plein soleil, il faut autrement appuyer sur un bouton pour avoir le rétroéclairage (qui rend les couleurs très moches) et dure que quelques secondes. bon courrage si vous mettez un chrono ou un miniteur pour appuyer toutes les 10 secondes sur le bouton.4. L'ergonomie est pas folle, de nouveau je compare à une polar vantage v3 (plus grosse) et pourtant elle ne me gêne pas autant que la coros car cette montre (coros) a le capteur de dessous qui sort énormément, ça fait une espèce de protubérance qui a la longue compresse le poignet et laisse des marques.Bref, si on regarde que le prix et la batterie ça a l'air d'une bonne affaire, mais à l'usage c'est horrible. Plutot voir du côté de polar, ou bien prendre une montre normale et y associer un capteur de fréquence cardiaque.

I’m coming from the original Apex. This second version I feel is better at the heart rate. I felt is more in line with heart rate as measured by the threadmill at the gym as well.Otherwise the battery life is probably slightly lesser than the original. The look is good, touch is really not to the mark but what’s the point of touch without the option to click and inly to scroll?The backlight has to be on all the time I felt as the brightness level is slightly below the mark.Either way, better features, better looks and ahem. Not a better price. Must have been around 35k but hooked on to Coros and I am sure will pay the returns in the years ahead.

Se lo regalé a mi mujer. Está muy contenta con este reloj, sólo tiene un pero, y es que la esfera o pantalla de 1.2" debería ser al menos, de 1.4"Creo que por el precio que tiene bien merece una pantalla mayor

I bought this watch over the Pace 3 because of the topo map support for hiking/trail running in New England. However, the topo maps are practically useless. The watch uses openstreetmap, which is only rendered in meters using a massive 20 meter minor contour and 100 meter major contour. You can select to display in feet, however doing so only changes the labels so you get a very weird 65 foot minor contour / 325 foot major contour. The contours will only display at a close zoom level so even in fairly steep mountains (eg the Whites in NH) you dont get any usable level of detail.Unless you want to become an expert in openstreetmaps and render your own maps (i am not but this seems very possible to learn especially if you know german or polish), there is no way to change the contour interval to something more useful or standard. The USGS and almost all hiking maps in the US use a 10 foot minor contour and 50 foot major contour. A 65 foot contour interval might be kinda ok in the high Sierra Nevada or parts of Colorado, but even then the odd CI should turn you away from Coros if the topo maps are a selling point for you. The maps were clearly slapped in as a boardroom afterthought to appease the marketing department.All the other features of the watch are great- good build quality, great battery life, excellent location accuracy etc.
