After thinking we had burned out our Vitamix motor, a bit of investigation’ online brought us to this part. Worked a treat!

I previously bought a non Vitamix drive socket from china which was a complete waste of time and money as it isn’t balanced as a genuine model is and it ran like a marble in a biscuit tin. As soon as I bought this genuine one and fitted it everything was nice and quite. Runs like a sweetie now..

I ordered this 10 years ago, having had a Vitamix blender for 5 years at the time. I like to be prepared! Anyway, after continued daily use, I finally needed it today. There was an awful smoky burning smell coming from the existing drive socket but with the replacement in place it's all good to go again. It took about 10 minutes to do the job. Note that you need a blob of silicone sealant to finish the job.

My VitaMix is alive again - Happy Days.

Only time will tell if this will be as durable as the original but so far so good. The supplied Allan key and instructions were simple, clear and easy to follow.

after ordering copy part form ebay, and it didn't fit properly, ordered this one from this vendor and it fits like a glove... I didn't think to look on amazon and this vendor and found by accident , I am so glad and vendor replied promptly to confirm this is the original part.
