Introducing the iBoutique Premium Sunrise Alarm Clock. This new model in our range utilises the latest and brightest energy efficient LEDs on the market at this price point. The clock contains no less than 15 of them meaning it is brighter and more effective than many similar clocks. The clock begins to illuminate gently 20 minutes before your desired wake up time. Other models we have tested simply light up for example 60 minutes before you wish to wake up then get brighter at the alarm time. Ours is much more gradual. You have the option of just waking up with the light only but there is a back-up option of having an audible bleep as a safeguard. In testing, most of our testers wake up just with the light however. The light is designed to simulate the natural sunrise, just the way nature intended. This can have a dramatic effect on your mood during the day - particularly during the winter months. That is not all though, there is more. The clock also measures and constantly displays the room temperature. There is much research that has been done suggesting that room temperature can affect the quality of your sleep. Sleep experts say that the ideal room temperature is 68 to 75 degrees Farenheit/20 to 23 degrees Celsius. There are not many clocks on the market that offers this feature. The clock has a lovely rounded design (to simulate the sun) with all controls easily accessible from the front instead of having to feel around the back. There is a snooze facility with attractive blue backlight. It can also be powered by batteries (not supplied) or mains power adapter (supplied). This clock comes with our 12 month warranty as standard and a 30-day money back guarantee if you are not entirely satisfied.

Not the best
I've had this product for just under a year now, and kind of wish I'd spent a bit more money on a Phillips one. The light is not particularly strong but intitually comes on suddenly, and jerkily gets brighter. I would normally suddenly wake up, rather than gradually. And now, for some reason unbeknownst to me, it has stopped either lighting up or sounding an alarm even though I have one set, which is unhelpful.

Not worth it!
I've never written a review before but felt that I had to with this. I had somewhat medium hopes for this product given the price. When I set it up the first night, it looked great and I liked the temperature feature. I naturally wake early but it's a struggle to get moving when the place is still dark, hence the reason for the light. On the first morning, 20 minutes before the time of my actual alarm (the same time that this clock's light was supposed to start gradually getting brighter) I turned on my lights and went to the bathroom. I realized that the light on the clock hadn't started coming on and I figured maybe because I had turned on the lights at about the same time it had a sensor that detected light and nullified the clock's. I figured that I will see the next day.On the second morning, I woke at the exact time of the alarm and happened to see the light on, but it went off in like the next minute and there I was in the dark once more...struggling.The third morning, I woke well before the time that the gradual light was supposed to come on...I waited and waited and after the time at which the alarm was supposed to go off I turned on the blue backlight to check that the light and sound icons were on. After a few minutes I realized that the light was still on and that the time had not changed. I pressed the buttons...nothing!! The clock was frozen. I then decided to remove and put back the batteries, the clock then seemed to be working again.Fourth day...nothing but the time and temperature, same for the fifth day and the sixth.About a week after, I saw the light and heard one 'croak', which I supposed was the sound alarm. And alas that 'croak' was more of an omen than a good luck sign, for the clock seemed to have euphemistically 'croaked'! On checking the screen, it was blank, I figured the batteries may have been dead, even if it was a clock. I opened the back or 'tried' to open the back to remove the batteries and this was as trying as anything else (considering this was only the third time loosening the screw). When I finally got the back open and removed the batteries I proceeded to plug in the clock...still no power. I used the power supply to power another appliance and it is worked with the other appliance. So, essentially after one week of use...and it doesn't really add up to that long... the clock is totally DEAD!!Neither alarms worked reliably, the light was dull and the back was hell to unscrew after two times.A total waste of money!

It wakes me up. Not the easiest clock to ...
It wakes me up. Not the easiest clock to programme Wish the clock part was illuminated but that could be me not finding how to activate that part of the clock. No bright enough to read by but was aware of that before purchase

cheaper option
My other branded one had broke, this was a cheap alternative and so far works well, will use it more during the winter.

Great budget option.
Great cheap alarm clock. Not ultra bright (which you wouldn't expect below £50) but easy to use with battery and mains power. Can't complain for below £30.

Ok but not the best on the market
Main downside with this particular version is the light goes off as soon as you accept the alarm. Most versions come on slowly and stay on for a bit after you stop the alarm. Also the alarm is very tinny sounding.
