Can you use this during the day, if so how long?

I only used it during the day, I don't think I could fall asleep with a bulky tray in my mouth. I had 30 minute applications every other day for 2 weeks, my teeth are very sensitive and I can't apply anything stronger than this. It did work, obviously not the highest white possible, but good enough. If you don't have very sensitive I suggest something stronger. I'll buy again soon.

Is this the same active ingredients as the day white product?

Well I don't know for sure. You need to go read the Day White active ingredients and compare them. I have been using this night white product for several years. I only whiten once a week for 45 min and it keeps my teeth a natural white.

Is this an expired item? Says expiration 11/13.

Work great and no sensitivity

I had custom trays made by my dentist and this was the gel that was included. I’m still using the trays. It’s nice to get the exact gel that came with the original kit. Whitens teeth to desired color with no teeth sensitivity. I put mine in overnight.

This really works

I’ve been using this product for years. My dentist uses this in her office. She recommend it to me and I have had good results over the years. I’m a tea drinker and wine occasionally. It does a really good job good job removing stains. You should see some results in one treatment. Will need to use a few times to get best results. Follow directions carefully.
