0.5m VGA Cable I was mounting an old HP mini PC on the back of a monitor and needed a short VGA capable to complete a tidy and compact setup. This cable was perfect for the job and remains nicely out of view. The picture is as clean and crisp as VGA gets and, as I've come to expect from previous KabelDirekt purchases, manufacturing quality seems to be excellent. I would have been perfectly happy to pay full price, but it just so happened to be on a 50% discount at the time so was an absolute bargain!

I needed a replacement for an old VGA cable and read the reviews carefully. This cable has the feeling of a quality item and the difference in picture quality was immediately evident. It also enabled automatic selection of the optimal resolution which didn't happen on my old cable.

When it comes to cables, you have a plethora of choices. I wanted to connect my laptop to the plasma TV. The problem was that I needed a long run of cable. I could have gone for a 3 meter length, but the wife was't too keen on the idea. It made the living room look 'untidy'. Funny, I didn't see it that way, but I did pick up on the potential tripping hazard. Anyway, I had to get the 10m length, this narrowed down the choices available. I decided to buy the Cable from KabelDirekt. An interesting choice of spelin. The cable arrived promptly. A thick diameter cable generally indicates a sign of good quality. It was easy to secure the cable using the rotating screws.The metal connectors have 24K gold-plated contacts. The cable is double shielded throughout and the copper used is oxygen free. OFC is normally found in high end cables. However it does not state the purity of the copper. There's not much more to be said that hasn't been said already. I did not experience any problems with lag etc On a side note, when I purchased my top end home theater system, I was advised to buy the best cable I could afford. I was told the cables that come with the system are generally low end and poor-quality. Such cables can't deliver the performance the system is capable of producing. I use the same analogy when buying computer cables. This brings me to another point. The same can't be said for HDMI cables. VGA cables carry an analog signal as opposed to a digital signal. HDMI cables stream digital video and audio simultaneously in the same cable. A 'standard' HDMI cable can run up to 15m without any signal loss. Don't be duped by pretentious salespersons, purchase the cheapest HDMI cable, plug it in and enjoy. If the product is unworthy of a good review, I think it is unfair to leave positive feedback as this can mislead potential buyers. I hope you found the review helpful. Bought this to replace a 1.5m cable. Came on time, well packaged. Looks like a quality cable and plugs. Connected well and the monitor came up first time as good as my last cable at 1920x1200. The only issue I have is that the chunky plug barely fitted into my graphics card as the case overlapped a bit (see picture above). It was a squeeze but I managed to get it connected. Just be careful to check what space you have available when buying.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Excellent cable, brilliant image transfer compared to my old VGA cable. Tested both the 0.5m and 3m cables and both are excellent with no loss of signal. Very pleased customer.

Soy radioafinadony tenía problemas de radiofrecuencia que se me colaba en los monitores, he probado con muchos cables y este es el único que ha subsanado el problema, carcasa metálica, ferritas de calidad, mucha, muchas, calidad tiene el cable compré el trenzado de nylon exterior, me sorprendió la calidad.

Ich nutze das Kabel seit 2023 für mein Karaoke-Setup. Damit verbinde ich mein Yamaha Tyros 4 entweder mit dem Fernseher oder mit dem Beamer. Die Bildübertragung ist stabil und klar, ohne Aussetzer oder Wackelkontakt. Das Kabel wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und zuverlässig im Einsatz. Klare 5 Sterne.

Ha sido ponerlo y funcionar sin problema. Da buena calidad. la unica pega es que es muy corto pero seguro se especifica en el anuncio así que 0 quejas
