BUSH TUCKER TRIALS IN YOUR LIVING ROOM AND A VERY PROTEIN RICH SNACK FOR OTHERS
We bought these for the family to play "Bush Tucker Trials" - What a laugh, they are very true to what you see on the telly just freeze dried and they are actually full of protein and completely edible as a snack. This company that sells them looks very professional which was important to me when you're thinking of putting something in your mouth. We had an excellent game and roared with laughter, some of the big tough guys bottled it.Don't overlook these as a healthy snack, which is what they are actually intended for. Kids loved the games, they came very well packed too so the critters were not all crushed up in the post. hope this helps you, kind regards Quentin.

Okay as an attraction; overpriced as food
They taste all right, but they lack any seasoning and the texture is uniform throughout (except the locust wings... those are weird). None of the random people who tried them hated them, but no one thought they tasted great. The more I ate, the more I liked them, but the 20g ran out after a day of nibbling. I'd buy again (especially the mealworms) if I could find cheaper ones meant for humans. The prices of these packs (£8.50) are inflated beyond their value as food, no matter the category.

Brilliant family fun
Some people buy these for the purpose of genuinely wanting to eat them. I buy things like this to play funny games with my family and friends and these are the booby prize. They’re well packaged, dried and clearly prepared very hygienically. The packet is full to the brim and so this is very good value for money. A great amount of each critter too, so they haven’t skimped you.If you want a source of family fun, that will create hilarious videos to treasure, buy a pack of these to add to your game night for the loser to enjoy!

Hmmm ... intriguing ...
Interesting product - never consciously chosen to eat insects before. Guessing maybe a little reminiscent of prawn or other multi limbed, armoured, crunchy arthropod type things. What you get is dry, savoury, rice papery snack. Nothing to object to. Nothing to love. Some food writers suggest we need to turn to insects to deliver the protein mass the world demands. Joy! Presumably the cultures of the world that do make use of our multi limbed friends in their diet have better ways of cooking them. Three stars for interest value.

Good for a novelty
Great for a novelty gift. They went down a treat getting everyone to try these, to see if they were brave enough, we had lots of fun with them. They are a great snack as well. The delivery was very fast, which was excellent. They also taste good. I would have liked more in the pack for the price, as they are expensive for what they are and how much you get. And I would have liked more Locusts and Crickets in the packet, as it was mostly Mealworms and Buffalo Worms. Overall a good buy though and worth the money for the entertainment they brought.

They are great but Amazon turn them to dust
I've ordered this product before direct from Crunchy Critters and its fab. The Critters all taste different and they bring great entertainment to adults and kids!Amazon however managed to batter the package in transit, so I ended up with a bag of insect dust. Thankfully though, Crunchy Critters customer service was second to none and they have offered to replace without an issue.Thank you!

Christmas challenges
Thought this would be a bit of fun and actually really was. The taste is naturally somewhat earthy. The quality is good and there are a number of each creature in the packet. Worth trying if you can manage to get past what you are eating.

Awesome, but REALLY DRY
Took this to a youth group to see what the reaction would be. Apparently the food was halal, but didn;t mean everyone wanted to eat some.Very dry although quite nice, make sure there is water nearby.Make sure there is water nearby.Make sure there is water nearby.
