White Truffle and Grana Padano Sauce Truffles (3 Ounce) Glass Bottle by TARTUFI LE IFE

I wanted to try a truffled potato recipe for a pot luck dinner party and living in a rural area, no store would carry such an item. My friends raved about the potatoes, so I guess these are good truffles. I don’t know. I liked the potatoes also!

Tastes like absolutely nothing. Didn’t know truffles could taste or smell like nothing . That being said the it would seem impossible for the manufacturer to be unaware of this. Give someone else your money.

There is really no flavor to these, they taste like they are lab grown.

If you've ever purchased truffle oil, whether it's black or white, you know it's expensive just for the small bottle you get. Usually blacks go for almost twice the price or so, so I snagged two jars and they both contained huge truffles! One big one in one jar and two in another. I'm soaking the sliced big one in safflower oil for a few weeks and then i'll have some amazing oil to cook with! Doing it on my own like this allows me to add a more bold flavor that isn't fake compared to most truffle oils you find being sold. I also want to add that these truffles feel slightly firm but only squish if you really try to do that.. I'm not the most experienced with truffles but i know adding something about the texture will help some people! I've also ordered from truffles USA and I actually got an eyelash in my jar... none in any of these ones so far!

I wanted to make my husband a special dinner. I paired this truffle with cream, clarified shallots, salt and fresh ground pepper to make a simple cream sauce for porcini raviolo and to have a spoon over a fillet mignon steak. It was superb! I highly recommend these truffles as they're already minced and have a wonderful truffle flavor and texture.

This was an absolutely disgusting product. No truffle flavor, gritty and gross. A huge waste of money and I bought 2 jars and a zero to two. I didn’t even want to give one star.

Probably the most washed out flavor of any brand on here, as of 8/2/2024
