Quite helpful...
Really like this tool. I dislocated my ring finger quite severely in October. Five months later after a month of physical therapy it has regained 80% or so of its strength and flexibility. The finger still has some residual curing, so I use the white finger extensions faithfully (which exerts a gentle upward pressure). This tool exerts downward pressure, which is a nice complement. The build quality is surprisingly good, especially at this price point. All metal, no plastic. Will the combination help straighten my finger? No idea, ask me in three months or so...

Finger press
After having trigger fingers surgically repaired on both hands, I ordered the above item. I found it very easy to use and certainly durable enough for the purpose I purchased it for. I took it with me to an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon. Even he was very impressed with it. He took down the information and price. He said that it was much better than what they had to rehab the joints. Well worth the minimal price. I’m very pleased.

Joint straightener, could be better for larger fingers.
I purchased this to use on my little finger after the plastic joint jack (issued by my OT) developed a crack and she was unable to order a replacement. The issue is contracture due to adhesions from flexor tendon repair. It is very tricky to keep the finger aligned while tightening the screw. The bottom "cradle" for the finger is uncomfortable no matter how you slice it. I actually have to reverse the unit (long side toward the wrist) in order to use it at all. The screw has slow travel when putting in on and taking it off, there is no quick release. The head of the screw is small, making it more difficult to turn as you tighten. Is it better than nothing? Yes, for me it is.Is it made of quality materials? Yes, it appears to be.Will it last a long time? Probably. Is it affordable? Yes, most definitely. Is it easy to use? No, not for me.Am I keeping it? Yes, for all of its shortcomings, it is another arrow in the quiver. Is it the best option on the market? Not in my case.Bottom line, if you are on a budget and/or if this unit fits your hand well, you won't go wrong with this item.(I'm leaning toward buying a replacement for the gray plastic unit, even though it cracked after about 6 months. It is more comfortable, easier to use, faster to put on, allows you to see the joint angle better while in use, lets you increase the tension click by click, and has a quick release. Most importantly, I made more progress in straightening the joint with the first one. On the down side, it is $95.)

Nice.
The metal hurts my finger, so I added some foam on the white metal edges to make it comfortable. It gets the job done. Surprisingly it doesn't hurt my finger when pressing it flat.

Of course it’s not exactly comfy
Does exactly what’s needed. If you’ve ever broken or mangled a finger enough that it healed crooked, this is the thing you want to straighten it out. Yes, it’s a bit of a self-torture device, but if you’ve been struggling with trying to stretch your finger flat on your own, it’s actually a relief to find something hassle free that works.. I’m really glad I found this thing.

Very cheesy, bends when tightened
This is a review of Watris Veiyi Finger Joint Straightener, Finger Joint Extension Splint, Finger Fixed Rehabilitation, White Average Size Hand Injury Joint Support Pressing Device for Finger Pain Easy Pressing SplintVery cheap and cheesy device. When it is tightened down, the clamp deforms out of the indented track. I returned this and got a similar looking but much better quality device. the one I bought and kept has a small spring on the threaded part and it does not deform out of the track when tightened.
