I take the Box crate off the dish washing machine and stopped there at moment. No manuals whatsoever. They may be inside the washer but the door doesn't open. I'm sure I have to remove screws or something but no instructions. A week after I completed the install (instructions were inside you just have to figure out how to get inside).. This is exactly the dishwasher we were hoping for.

April 19th, 2023 Was delivered and installed today, I’ve only run one load so I will check back in 6 months time to confirm anything else that needs fixing. So far the heated dry feature left a lot of water behind but washed the dishes really well.

I purchased Sept 2024 and I was excited to try a dishwasher that would connect with Alexa. I was replacing a bosch and since this has a heating element I was expecting dishes to dry better, but it does not. This never connected successfully with Alexa, it is noisy and it does not dry better than the Bosch. 2 Weeks ago I started receiving an E4 error. This has to do with a water leak or not draining. I pulled the unit out and there were no leaks but there was water in the tub. I cleared this out and the error went away. This has happened 2 times since and now the error is no going away. I called Sharp service and they said they could send someone out for $400 plus parts to service. But the thing that bugged me was that the tech stated the payment must be made in advance, the fee would be forfeited if the tech came and nobody was here, plus a lot of other reasons to not use their service. So I did not order the service and will just get a replacement for a few hundred more. I will not get a Sharp!!!

The dishwasher is really nice, its very quiet and feels high quality. Installing was easy, other than tracking down the water line connection I needed that did not come with this. I am overall disappointed with the documentation when it comes to the Alexa integration and the built in display. Alexa does not give the remaining time and doesn't even know what I am talking about even though the manual shows that as an option to ask. The display does not show the remaining time of a cycle. Sharp Support told me if the cycle is over 1 hour it will alternate, under an hour it will not display anything. Neither the display or Alexa gives me the remaining time of a cycle. For the cost I would have expected better documentation and troubleshooting procedures, if this is an issue with my device alone or expected operation I am not sure since the manual doesn't go in depth into the display. Update: Been using for over a month now not very heavily, pretty sure the motor for draining is going out. Water barely drains and super loud grinding. Update 2 - Feb 2025: It's been awhile now since I have purchased this dish washer and I would not recommend it at all. I constantly get E1 or E4 errors in the middle of cycles, which prevents from a complete cycle cleaning dishes. I could have just gotten a defective one but its been all around annoying experience.

Had to edit this to 1 star (original review below this update) after 4 months this stupid dishwasher had a failed pump, failed control board, and a cracked hose which I'm told was a manufacturing defect by the repair guy. After 3 unsuccessful visits to my house and countless emails and calls to Sharp support they finally replaced it but wouldn't pay for removal of the broken one and only paid $200 for install when the cheapest I could find was $250. I will never buy Sharp again! Original review below The Alexa features are a huge gimmick, had to get that out of the way first. The washer itself is really nice although it was a pain to install. It does NOT include a power cable, so you'll need to purchase that separately. Fit and leveling was a real hassle , won't be great for everyone but it cleans my dishes well and that's the point, right?

We got this last April after having no dishwasher for 6 months. So I really hate to complain. But let’s start with the pros. It runs very quiet. Honestly that’s not important to me but for some it is. Dishes come out clean. Sometimes stuck on stuff I need to re clean but I’d expect that. The third rack is kinda handy. However if I didn’t have it, there would be more vertical room and I wouldn’t need it anyway. I always hand wash big knives so it’s usually other large utensils that go there. Now the cons. The little bars to slide plates into are too short and too close together and bend at a bad angle. I have to use every other slot so that there is room between my plates. My ‘full’ dishwasher doesn’t get very full. And bowls don’t fit right because of the little bars. I feel like I am gonna break something if I force a bowl between the bars. Another thing, it’s ’Alexa compatible’ however this dish washer you have to set the buttons BEFORE you close it, then it’ll start after you shut the door. So I can sit there and set the settings on my Alexa app but why, when I have to stand right there to start it? I think there is a pause on the app for the dishwasher but why? Also Alexa doesn’t have any clue I have a dishwasher. I can ask how much time is left but she just tells me avg run times for avg dish washers. I have to go into the app and spend 5 min looking for the dumb dishwasher to see how much time is left because the display on the dish washer can’t tell me either. 🙄 If the price is right for you yes it’s a good dishwasher that works. And is quiet. Otherwise I’d have liked a different one.

Not super happy, installed it and washed several loads of dishes, it did a fair job but then went into and Error mode of code E4 and will not get past it. The code identifies some internal leak, but there's no leak. They were supposed to send a tech out but I haven't heard from them. I didn't receive any kind of email confirming an appointment or sorry, for the inconvenience of our product not working as expected.

The top tray that is supposed to be for silver wear is already removed after just 4 weeks. It would not slide in and fell apart. No instructions on how to put back together. Alexa is not connecting to phone and product customer support is useless after calling 3 times I am still no further. They are always connecting me to sharp customer care that is not giving me any help either. So at this time I have a very expensive regular Dishwasher.
