Good value anti-static strap
These are excellent value at only just over £2 each (I paid 6.49 for a pack of 3). They're comfortable and easy to adjust for a snug fit.I'd like to address the several reviews that say they're "non-conductive" or "dangerous". These are incorrect and possibly stem from a misunderstanding of how the straps work. There is a 1 megohm resistor installed between the banana plug/croc clip and the strap which is is there for safety reasons and will protect the user from electric shock, should they inadvertantly clip themselves to a high voltage. Static charge will rapidly dissipate through the resistor, thus the straps are able to function as intended. I attached a multimeter to the crocodile clip and measured exactly 1 megohm to the metal in the wrist strap, or about 1.5 megohms to the elastic material (using a standard probe). Before I purchased, and having read the 3 prominent negative reviews, I looked around various suppliers for wrist straps and found that the 1 megohm safety resistor is standard to all reputable makes. I think the negative reviews are unfair on what is in fact a very good, and safe, product. There is no doubt that these straps will function as advertised.

THESE DO NOT CONDUCT FROM CROCODILE CLIP TO STRAP!!!
I bought mine to earth my body, only just discovered, after testing with my multimeter, a year later, that on all THREE in the pack, not ONE of them actually has conductivity between the crocodile clip, and the button on the strap! Absolute waste of money! They DO NOT WORK!! I have been assuming that I was grounded, but I WASN'T!

Does not pass simple safety tests
Before using these straps, I did a basic test to make sure that they have continuity between the strap and croc clip. They do not. THESE ARE DANGEROUS AND DO NOT PROTECT YOU FROM STATIC. They look ok, but MUST NOT BE USED

Not conductive so useless. Does not work in other words.
Did anyone bother to test their straps with a multimeter for actual conductivity?None of my 3 straps actually conduct current so they are useless for grounding.Cheap rubbish with no quality controll.

Work Well, Good Value
Not really a whole lot anyone can say about anti static straps they either work or don't.... these work just fine.I am not a big fan of the term "maker" but in essence that is what I am as I like tinkering away with all sorts of stuff too of the main ones being electronics and knife making. You may be wondering how these two hobbies are linked.... by the anti static strap. If you are looking at anti straps you already know why they are important in electronics so you don't fry delicate components with static electricity. With knife making you are using a machine to grind away metal which builds up a considerable amount of static which isn't going to do any harm but you keep getting nasty little shocks every 30 seconds so by attaching yourself to the grounded body of the grinding machine by an anti static strap no more shocks. These are no different than any other cheap strap they are comfortable enough to wear even over a very extended period of time.I think it was reasonable value for my money and would buy again.

Great 3x anti-static straps!
After buying a bunch of components to build a PC, I realised I didn’t have any anti-static wrist straps to prevent me from killing any of the pieces. This 3 pack was just the job. Not only did it prevent me from frazzling any of the components but it also allowed my son to help with the second strap and with one spare - just in case! This pack also came with a lint free cloth which wasn’t expected but was quite a nice little touch as it allowed me to wipe my finger marks off the case after the build. In summary: Great 3 pack of anti-static straps at a good price. Recommended.

Total Waste of Time & Money
The photos show a continuity testphoto 1: direct contact > correct continuity = 0.1 ohm resistancephoto 2: these useless "anti-static" bands = OL (stands for Open Loop, i.e., no circuit continuity)Without electrical connection between the wrist contact and the croc clip, the "anti-static" use is utterly impossible! This finding was true of all three wrist bands received.Do NOT waste your money - these products are a joke! Amazon should stop listing them - shame on Amazon that they've not done so before now!
