Good punch to use

Easy to use

Good quality 1" punch but will only cut thicker paper or up to medium card cleanly. I had hoped that it would cut heavier weight/stiff interfacing but unfortunately it will not so won't help with my quilting

I was looking at getting a die cutting machine to cut hexagon templates for English paper piecing and came across this punch. Perfect for cutting the templates and much much cheaper.

I so wish I read the reviews before buying this punch as I needed it to be 2” square. It’s not 2” and it has rounded corners. It is a good quality punch just not the size I wanted. Note to myself check the reviews before buying

I got the size large, and it gives you a 1 inch square, to help see the detail when you are painting in watercolour, by moving it around the photo you are painting or drawing. This is the only one that will give you a 1 inch square. I thought the price was a bit high, but it does the trick, and it's strong. Would I buy it again?. YES I would.

Der Stanzer ist stabil und schneidet auch sehr präzise. Bei gelegentlicher Nutzung kann ich bislang keine Abnutzung feststellen. Kanten werden scharf geschnitten - auch bei normaler Papierdicke. Da ich heute die Anfrage zu den Maßen bekam, schreib ich es hier auch nochmal dazu: Würde man einen Kreis drumherum ziehen, wäre der Durchmesser 2,5 cm, d.h. von Spitze zu Spitze sind es 2,5 cm! Von Kante zu Kante sind es nur 2,2 cm. Die Kantenlänge beträgt 1,25 cm. An der Unterseite befindet sich eine durchsichtige Scheibe (die man auch ganz weglassen kann). Dadurch kann man den Stanzer auch an einer vorgezeichneten Form genau positionieren. Man sieht genau, wo die Schneidekanten hervortreten. Ich hab einige Stanzer von Vaessen Creative (klein und groß) und bin mit dem Ergebnis bisher immer zufrieden. Was ich nicht so gut finde? Der Preis ist relativ hoch, aber wenn man es auf die Haltbarkeitsdauer hochrechnet, ist es wieder ok. :) Ich frage mich, wie man die Schnittkanten wieder schärfen könnte, wenn sie stumpf werden. Ich fände es schade, wenn man das Produkt dann wegwerfen müsste. Wie bei den meisten Stanzern ist die Flexibilität eingeschränkt. Man kann das Hexagon nur bis zu einem bestimmten Abstand von der Kante ausstechen. Das ist schade, wenn man den Ausschnitt weiter in der Mitte haben möchte.
