These paints are very creamy and a beautiful array of colors.

Better than food coloring for dying salt rocks, pasta and salt.

I bought these as a test kit of these stains so the small size was what I was expecting. My intended use is staining wooden toys for my kids. I have been using the color splash liquid for a few days on pine shapes which have been sanded clean first.As far as shipping, the bottles came packed in a nice tidy little box, and each vial was then wrapped in plastic individually. Each vial also had a seal inside the cap. Everything was intact when I got it and nothing had leaked.There are no instructions, so I played around with them some. I settled on soaking a rag in a few drops of the color and then rubbing it to the wood. The lack of instructions is only the reason it's not 5-star. This cost me some time trying to figure out what worked best and seemed like something you'd want to include in what I'd consider a sample pack.I was surprised how little stain was needed to get a good color. The bottle tips are almost eye-dropper sized openings, so you can easily release just a drop or two at a time. To stain a 6x6" flat surface reasonably dark took about 25-30 drops, which hardly registered as a loss of volume in even the 1-oz vial. The color penetrated pretty deeply into the wood, which is great for my application (as opposed to paint, just laying on the surface). I sanded off an area just to check, and it took some work to get back down to bare wood. That's a note of caution too, because any screw-up may be difficult to get out.As for what happens when it gets on you, they don't wash off that easily. I wore latex gloves but somehow managed to still get some on me, which I left on there for maybe 30 minutes while I was working. I tried to wash it off but the next day my kids were giving me grief about my blue fingers. It probably took 24 full hours to all wash off.

These are nice for bright colors. It's hard for the kids to get clear colors with the watercolor pallets. So these are great. Only complaint from our 6 year is the red is orange not red. He was disappointed when filling in his red heart.

I can't tell you how much I adore this product. The colors are bright and saturated and beautiful. I added 3:1 alcohol to watercolor just as a test and you can see in the picture how BLAM! this violet color is when sprayed on test sheet. I will definitely have to further dilute this mixture but that's a good problem to have I say. The box of 6 presented wonderfully also as they were in a firm cardboard box and each had plastic shrink wrap and then a good tight seal that has to be removed upon first use. It stained my hands a bit but that is to be expected and easily removed by a little alcohol. The price point is incredible when you think how much product you get and how long it will last you. Great value for the money. I really can't say enough good things about this product. Hope this helps in your decision making if you are mulling the idea of purchasing these watercolors.

Used these in ice cubes, spray bottles, and rice. Children loved to paint with the ice on a hot day, the tree trucks and papers were beautifully painted by the spray bottles, and the rice is dyed with vivid color. Will absolutely buy again.

I bought these paints as a new medium for students to paint with. I’m not sure if I like it. The colors are very pastel. I am not sure I would use “vivid color” in describing the colors. It was easy to use. It was fun for my students. It was colorful. I probably would not purchase again.

Bought this for a summer day camp project. The bottles are a great size and the kit would work well for what we want to do. Brilliant colors when wet but dries a little less vibrant but it could be the paper we used. All in all a great product.

Got as refill ink for my son's Crayola spinner / spirograph. He loves them and they work great. They definitely stain fingers, but haven't stained any clothes or surfaces so far. The bottle cap holes are a good size to use as droppers, which is nice, as the original ink bottles that came with the spinner were not refillable. Colours are vivid.

I brought these for making coloured rice, it worked like a charm! They are amazing ! Tried to make it with food colouring to no avail, my little one loved it! Highly recommend and at a great rice for so many
