Dessert Tin Heavy Duty 12 Cup

Bought this to bake individual victoria sponges, and I am very happy with the results. The tray is very high quality (and very heavy!), and feels like it will last for many years. It is actually quite a bit bigger than I was expecting, so my three egg batter only made eight cakes (using about 80 grams per cake). The resulting cakes were evenly baked, with not a domed top in sight, and were very easy to remove using the loose bottoms. There was a little sticking to the sides with the first batch, so I lined the sides of each hole with a little greaseproof paper second time around, which worked perfectly.

The pan is quite big but it fit my oven perfectly. The material is very sturdy. No need to grease the cups, perfectly non-stick. Put two ice-cream scoops of batter in each cup and all individual cakes come out the same size. Slice them in half and fill with cream and jam, very professional looking, Love the pan and would recommend it to all bakers.

Good solid baking tin, bit heavier than expected. Only slight problem is the sides of the little sponges don't quite come away cleanly, the non stick is not as good as I hoped, but still have managed to turn out some nice small cakes.

Really sturdy and non stick. Some people have said they leak but seemed fine to me.Highly recommended.

Great product, nice heavy quality. Arrived next day and I have made Victoria Sponges, Mary Berry's apple and almond cakes and cheesecakes for a charity bake stall. All turned out really well. They are a little wider than I imagined but still fine. I'm still on the lookout for a 2.5" loose base set in the same style. If anyone knows of any, let me know.

Love, love, love this tin...really great quality product..cakes, once cooked are easily removed from the tins and the tin is really easy to wash. Have used this to make miniature Christmas cakes and sponges and have been really pleased with the results from everything I have made..would highly recommend...was very much worth the money
