AVANTEK Universal Car Mount Air Vent Phone Holder with 360 Degree Rotation Car Phone Holder

The Avantek phone mount arrived on the day we were off out and I wasn’t driving so I used it in the vertical vent on the passenger side, and I was so pleased, finally I have found THE ONE, I’ve been looking for ages, my Ford Kuga only has vertical vents and I recently bought a phone mount that went in the CD player, good idea, but they’re not made to fit all cars apparently. Anyway, it worked perfectly, no bouncing when going over bumps, brilliant. However the next day I was driving and I was excited to actually try it out, but once it’s fitted to the vent on the drivers side it’s too close to the steering wheel and sits right close up to the indicator, very very disappointed, it’s no good, no good at all, so the hunt continues.

Phone holder is a good piece of kit and fits my rather large size Moto G4 perfectly in a Citroen C3 Picasso. The holder grips both the air vent slots and the phone well. Only minor drawback is that on tilting air vents, where the whole vent tilts, while there is a small pivoting strut as shown on the photo, this does sometimes disengage, which allows the vents and therefore the phone holder and phone to flop down slightly - although even in this position it is still perfectly usable. With fixed vents, where just the vanes tilt, the problem does not arise. At the price it is still a great buy. For perfection, the strut could either be spring-loaded into the vent, or the hinge could just be be made stiffer.

Works fine. None of these type are perfect, but this better than many others.Use for when using Navigator on my i-phone. Only slight weakness is square mount can slip connector section, but all up, no problem.

This is a fantastic product...in fact I purchased it for my partner last Christmas as a a stocking filler for him and loved it so much I bought one for myself. It's a perfect gift and it's beautifully packaged too which is a huge plus for me. It looks and feels like a good quality product for not a lot of money in my mind. Great buy :)

Not perfect but very good. Simple, not too big, well made, solid and safe. Looks good and works properly. It works on my vertical vents :)

Works well with my Moto E, even with the case left on. Only issue is with my car - the event came off when I removed the holder. Make sure to hold it in place when pulling the holder off.
