What an improvement
Wish I had bought one years ago - MGB was misbehaving and I checked timing, distributor, fuel pump and lines. Put in new plugs and leads, spark at plugs steady. No joy. New Sports coil fitted 2 years ago - couldn't be that - or could it? Read reviews and saw Bosch Blue coil has higher inductance than others, so as last resort bought one and fitted. Problem solved, car running better than ever. Great product, thanks Bosch.

May have been duff.
Bought this to have a quality coil instead of an unbranded one on my 1972 VW camper, which I was going to keep as a spare.Disappointingly van ran like a pig on it with rough idle and no power. Tested on a multimeter and seemed to be ok. I put the unbranded Chinese one back on and it ran sweet as a nut. Weird.

Bosch Blue coil failure after just 2days
Unfortunately the coil failed shortly after installation. Got a couple of days use after ignition rebuild on my 1968 Volvo Amazon 122s. But then broke down at side of the road- loss of power. After a few weekends lost chasing my tail investigating other areas of fuel/ignition I eventually suspected the “new” coil might be at fault. Replaced with another, and the car ran perfectly.Unfortunately it’s outside of the Amazon returns window so can’t get a refund.
