L&S Engineers Steel Drain Test Plug - 4" (100mm) Outlet 1/2"

I have a natural swimming pool which has one 'tank' for swimming and one for purification of the water. The two are connected with standard underground drainage pipe. I needed to block this transfer port to carry out maintenance on one side. Perfect, reach in place in position and wind the wing nut, seconds later and the job done. All the water was removed from one side leaving the plug the only thing holding back 10,000 litres of water - not a single drip leaked. Would recommend to anyone. Six months later - - - - - my own fault but do not leave outdoors in sunshine etc. I have come to use today and the rubber seal has perished. Have ordered a replacement but will look after the replacement better.

Quality OK, but slightly too small diameter for use in old clay 4" Pipe

It sealed a open 4" soakway drain perfectly that was in my garage and put a stop to the smell that was coming into my house. Great value and well made. Perfect.

Had a rat who used an old soil pipe the useless builder failed to cap off to make his way through the cavity to under the bedroom floor. Rat then caused carnage with the wiring etc until we discovered how he had entered the property. One plug later and Mr Rat is no more and won't be visiting again - a very strong item which can't be chewed through - very happy 5 stars !!

This is primarily a test plug to check for leaks, however I have used it to keep debris out of a new flood drain I have installed. I use one at each end. Should flooding occur I can open the neds and be sure of free flow.Well made, very solid, easy to use. I believe that if necessary the rubber part can be replaced.

Great for blocking my old toilet sewage outlet which runs under the kitchen extension where rats may have been coming in causing gravel to drop at the junction with the main sewage line runs causing blocked sewage as the tissues catch on the stones and building up.

Proper job, no plastic bits here. Worth the money!

I bought this plug as I have an old drain in my man-hole which I think rats are using to get into my house cavity. Does the job perfectly
