Are the handles easy to grip and thick as i had a blind father in law, who finds it hard with dainty handles

I have arthritic fingers and can cope with the handle. Lovely mugs.

Do these mugs come in a box?

No - the ones I got didn't come in a presentation box, but were well packaged and protected for delivery with lots of bubble wrap. (Highly recommend the mugs, they are lovely.)

Where are these made?

Hello they are made in China but they are very nice and look the same as plates I have from England

Are these full size? The dimensions suggest not!
