Preserved Lemons - 2 Pack

I have tried several other brands of preserved lemons. One of them tasted like furniture polish. Another was somewhat tasteless. These are absolutely outstanding. They are very easy to handle--easy to remove the flesh and easy to slice. The flavor is outstanding. A burst of sunshine! Adds depth, brightness, and zing to my Moroccan chicken tagine.

I have used these little lemons diced into yogurt with za'taar on top for a spread on little sourdough toasts and whole stuffed into a chicken. They add a real zest to an ordinary tuna salad. They are now a staple in my pantry!

I have purchased this product from this company in the past, and found it excellent. Last week I bought two jars, one as a gift. I used one jar this weekend and found the lemons had very thick rinds and completely lacking in lemon aroma and taste. I was making Moroccan chicken with olives and preserved lemons in a tagine. There was no lemon flavor in the dish

Ordered the two pack because we use these frequently in the winter. One was fine. The lid on the other was dinged and all the liquid had drained out leaving a sticky mess upon opening and I preserved lemons I had to throw away.
