I'd never noticed before that these bars no longer contain the mildly antiseptic qualities of the coal tar they'd once had which originally made this soap famously sought after well over a century ago. Never mind, I must have been using it for years without realising this formula change and still like it. Now that I have reached the state pension age I must seek out bargains when I come across them and this 16 bar deal is definitely one, even if the soap bars are now only coloured and fragranced to look like the original product. At least these are still solid bars instead of soapy water in a dispenser. I can make water soapy myself thank you very much, with something that is more value for money.Eamonn

What can you say about 16 bars of soap? Well, Wrights Coal Tar soap is very difficult to buy in my part of the world and when you can it is very expensive. So, having 16 bars delivered to my door is a big bonus. For anybody who has never used this soap I can thoroughly recommend it. However even in these strange days I can honestly say that in my opinion the ladies may well find the scent/odour/perfume not very pleasant. I have used this soap from boyhood and find the smell to be refreshing and very pleasant

Smells fresh and clean. Leaves my skin feeling soft. Used this soap for years, excellent for psoriasis.

Good value.It's soap , it was a good buy and it arrived on time.Purchased for washing hands , it smells a bit industrial , not for those who enjoy exotic scents !

Will order some more, as soon as these are used, prevents sweat rash on me and does not leave an unpleasant smell,sometimes the old type is best !!!
