good ol billycan
you can never go wrong with a zebra billy can from the small 12cm to the large 16cm they are cracking pots for bushcraft and camping have used this over many a year and have had amazing result , ive even cooked a roast chicken and a side of beef in this when i made my own metal clips for it , that is the only let down about this product that the clips are not metal and you have to either make your own or find some 3rd party, other than that amazing bit of kit

Excellent but change the clips if your using an open fire
Excellent pot. As others have mentioned, the plastic clips will melt. I have no idea why they make them this way. Anyway, 2 minutes, some pliers and some fencing wire and you can make metal ones to replace them. All good.

Fantastic quality with shortcomings
Good points:My woodgas burner fits in well, room still left with the plate area to pack other stuff. It's a heavy item quality stainless steel, be sure your okay with the extra weight if your carrying it, it's a huge difference to aluminium.Handle nice thick material.Clips keep the lid on when the Handle is upright.Bad points.Yep, the clips. If your using the billy can with a gas stove and flames don't lick up the side of the can, then great the clips will not melt.As soon as you have flames going up the side, the heat is too much and will melt.Yes you can take the clips off but I don't know how many times before it fatigues. And with the clips off, the handle is in the down position heating up with those licking flames. The other thing is the lid is only locked with Handle up, who is going to travel with it in their bag Handle up? So yes the lid falls off a lot in travel. There is a fix that some person is selling if you google it, however they could be made with some stout wire and a pair of pliers. The clips allow you to choose what position locks the lid.All in all I choose to give it 4 stars for its obvious short falls, but the reality is, the pot is 5 star quality.

Solid Little Can. Very nearly perfect
There is a little steel dish in the top of this which I have not really found all that useful to be honest.Water the dog or something? Now, in this size can, 12cm version; If you don't put the little dish in here, which nests snugly just underneath the lid, you can fit.....A coleman 250 gas canister and the Vango compact gas stove and a lighter.orA trangia meth burner, lightweight windshield for same folded down, a lighter and a spork. It really is a solidly built little billy can.The only problem I've found is the bloody plastic clips.1. They only secure the lid to the can when the handle is in the vertical position, not when folded away for packing.?!?2. Although the handle has a notch for suspending over a camp fire, the PLAAAASTIC clips MELT if flames happen to lick up the sides of the billy can.

Bombproof Billy can
Wanted one for ages !This seems pretty bombproof, it's reassuringly sturdy and a good weight as it's made of stainless steel.I've already pulled the plastic clips off, I like the way they lock the lid down when the handle is lifted, so I replaced with some homemade clips which I made from a steel coat hanger.I like the little insert dish that comes with it , which could be used for warming foods or as a small serving dish .I think as long as you keep it cleaned up after each use this should last pretty much forever. I haven't used it on a campfire yet, just on my gas stove, but it worked great and the stainless steel conducts and holds heat well.I wasn't too sure which size to get, I went with the 12cm as I wanted it just for solo backpacking and bushcraft cooking and I think that size is about right, glad I didn't go any bigger, in fact I managed to fit in a 750ml toaks pot, inside a foam potcosy, with a 300ml gas canister inside !

Ideal for a dad and a boy
A great little billy for a dad and his son to take with them for the day; we are not so much bothered about the quality of the food, more by the quantity and the energy both chemically and spirtually that a hot meal provides.I use this billy with foods such as soups (dried or tinned) beans, stews; basically something with lots of calories and easy to heat through. The capacity is great for a growing 13 year old and his greedy dad and combined with our trangia stove can provide us with a hot meal whilst out walking/trekking/stalking (with a camera) for the day.Obviously you can use it in the same way that you can for any pan, to heat water or whatever, but for us, whether it be hung over a fire, used with our gas stove, trangia or even used to hold barbecue sauce on our barbecue it does the job. It is robust and being stainless steel I anticipate that it will last for years. My only critiscism is the plastic clips, but you can't have everything!

Great billy can!
I wasn't sure how useful this would be since I've never used a billy can before but I loved it!When the handle is all the way up it closes up securely so you can safely store things on the move. It holds a large amount but is still fairly small for packing in a backpack. It was the first time we were finally able to cook for four on a camping trip and generous portions too. It heats up fast no problem on a gas stove, cleans like a dream and the little plate (?) which is conveniently stored inside doubles up as a frying pan if you have some plastic holds left over from some crappy aluminum pot.I haven't used it on a campfire yet so not sure how the little plastic things on the side will hold up then but they are removable if worse comes to worst.

Proper original zebra 👍🏻
14 cm.On heavy side, but is definitely made to last.Great for general camping, for hiking I'd recommend titanium pot. It's not super heavy though some people most likely wouldn't mind to carry this at all.Nevertheless it deserves strong 5⭐ star
