I've just received this ocarina and have been playing it for a while now. The sound quality is great - it is spritely and clear. Also less breath is required for the high notes, and because of that the high notes are less airy. I managed to snag this for £13 postage included.I've been playing the Night by Noble for a while now and believe the Rhythm of Earth sounds better. I've found the Night to be incredbly airy on the high B and C, which needs appropriate 'attack' of breath to get a clear sound; while with the low C you had to soften your breath quite a bit to get the right pitch. The Rhythm of Earth needs a similar breath strength to utilise the low C, but the high notes are definitely easier to get a clear tone. The Rhythm of Earth is also louder than the Night.There are some drawbacks with the ocarina. Although it has a nice ergonomic design, I found it to be quite heavy on the fingers. Furthermore, because I have small fingers, utilising the subholes is a little bit more difficult than what I'm use to. The holes seem larger (in comparison to the Night), but also the curvature of the ocarina makes it more difficult to move your fingers quicker. I expect this will get better with more practice, as it's a case of adapting to the shape of the ocarina.Overall if you're looking for a clay ocarina on a budget I would definitely recommend it.

Arrived within 24 hours in a well packaged box. No damage. The bag is very useful for storing and the book of noted and songs is easy to follow. The ocarina is perfectly shaped for different sized hands and me and my friend can both play it well. Within an hour of having it, i could already play Zelda lullaby and the scales from the book. The strap is small and barely fits around someone's neck omfortably and the songs in the book are not the full versions, just the version from in-game but the non-zelda songs areally fine. The scent is a strong bonfire smell, I really like it, though my friend thinks it's too acrid. All in all, very good product.

I purchased this ocarina after reading the reviews on amazon.com where there is over 40 of them to go by. As many describe there is a distinct campfire smell about the ocarina which I rather like. The sound seems ok to my untuned ears and I have managed to blow out twinkle twinkle rather quickly from the songbook. The lanyard, however, does not fit and I can not imagine it ever going over anybody's head, however, it will make a pretty bracelet. It also does not look anything like the picture but it is still very pretty and has an earthly like appearance. Overall I am impressed with this product and would suggest if you are interested or curious about this item that you pop over to amazon.com where you can hear a demonstration of this ocarina being played.

It's a good sized ocarina and it sounds good too. The smell that you get when opening it is so nice as well, if not a little potent. All in all it's really excellent for the price.

As a complete beginner this has a good sound and is easy to play. Am loving learning!
