A Must Have for Tight Muscles or stretched ligaments!
I was a little worried about getting a low quality product in comparison to what was being used on me at Physical Therapy. However, this product actually OUTPERFORMED the professional $1000 item from the PT office. I believe the difference is in the pads. These pads are excellent and conduct the electricity extremely well. I can't yet speak of the longevity of the pads, but they say, with regular use, they last about 3 months. The Masseuse has 7 different modes that are truly unique from one another. I personally found the knead to be most soothing for use on a swollen ankle (from torn+stretched ligaments). My ONLY complaint with this item is that only 2 pads can be hooked up at a time. I ordered the dual adapter, thinking that would solve that problem, but after looking again, I don't think that's what it does. If this sucker could power 4 pads at once, it would be unbeatable in my opinion. Normally 4 pads wouldn't be needed. However, if you're trying to work multiple areas (both sides of ankle), then it is useful. Anyway, if you're in the market for one of these personal massagers, I highly recommend this high quality product that is also backed with a 2 year warranty.

Worked for a month
This was working wonderfully for about a month then it stop functioning. It still appeared as if it was working but there were was no current coming through. Even after changing the batteries, pads and wires there was still no current.

Powerful enough at 2
Update - I've been using it regularly for a few weeks. I've had no issues with the pads but notice I have to start with more than a drip of water (more like 2 or 3 drips) and let it soak into my skin before it sticks fully. It seems to be helping my shoulder but I'm fairly sure it has a numbing effect and this allows me greater flexibility when I exercise after use. This results in faster healing. The numbing does feel good on my shoulder and back in addition to helping overall. I'm now up to 3 but haven't been able to get past this and probably don't need to. It doesn't distribute the charge equally so at the higher level I get a zap in the middle even with good adhesion. I'd still recommend this.Day 1= so far so good. I was worried it would not be powerful enough but I haven't been able to get past 2. I'm using it on my shoulder to help with the last bit of healing for a frozen shoulder. I'll write more as I go along regarding effectiveness but it certainly feels good out of the box.

A MUST HAVE!
I work in an stressfull office setting. Sitting at a desk all day, in front of a computer and talking on the phone, I get tension headaches and just feel like my middle/upper back & neck are very tight. The Mini Masseuse works great 8-10 minutes a day the first couple weeks and then just a couple days a week after that does the trick. I put it on when I first get home it releaves the stress and I sleep much better. Why pay a chiropractor $40 a pop to get the same results. The great thing is that it is portable and can use it while even walking around. It can even be plugged into my computer if I want to use it at work. I have seen this unit at trade shows that sell for $129+. This was an awesome buy and the seller was 5 stars. Very satisfied with the product. A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE!

Extremely Unsatisfied
Before purchasing the Mini Masseuse, I read all of the reviews and I must say I am highly suspect about the majority of them.My old "Massager Mouse" finally died after 10 years of good use so it was time to replace and update. The Mini Masseuse arrived and I was suspicious the moment I opened the box. The feel and quality of the unit was very cheap and flimsy, the pads were also extremely cheap and of a poor quality. The pads were stiff and not particularly adhesive. I figured I would give it a try anyway only to find out that the system was faulty and did not operate properly. Even if the unit worked properly, I would not recommend it. It is poorly constructed, cheap in quality and expensive for what it is. My old Massager Mouse was a much better product so I now have to search to find a good replacement.

Works Great / Breaks Easily!
While it works well, it's design is flimsy and will break after casual use. Specifically, there is no bracket or plastic connecting the pad cable jack to the circuit board coupled with the jack block being mounted with a gap between it and the back of the circuit board.Meaning the only thing keeping it in place are the soldered pins that deliver the power. If stressed in ANY way (such as plugging or unplugging at an angle) the pins will move into the circuit board and rip the leads off the other side, either resulting in sporadic shocks from arcing power or causing the unit to reset to the power off state. If the unit was even SLIGHTLY better constructed, it would get 5-Stars. Because like I said, it worked great until it broke. The fault is in the design, there is clearly room for a plastic tension mount for the jack block.Just be very ginger with the unit if you decide to get one.

Has it's own place on the coffee table now!
Really like this little gizmo. I have a unique job that has me behind a desk just as much as being outdoors. And whether it's a sore neck from being at the computer all day or an achey back from inspections, if find 30 minutes with this really relaxes my muscles. It's weird to think that having your muscles involuntarily contracting or spasming would help them relax but I've found that over a 30 minute session I can increase the intensity to the 3 or 4 setting because I've relaxed so much. (The setting goes all the way up to 8 but I haven't dared try it! I'm afraid my whole body would spasm and I wouldn't be able to turn it off! LOL!)I wasn't sure that it would see a lot of use but it really has become something useful. I figured that it would just end up going into the closet once the novelty wore off but I"m happy to say that it sits on the coffee table next to the tv remote!
