Harry Potter Set: Adult Edition

Beautiful hardbacks with great art, I have taken off the sleeves though as the spine colours being so neon are an eye sore but underneath it's a nice black with golden writing so it looks nice and adult

This is a great release for any Harry Potter fan to grab hold of. Some of the most simplistic yet stylish designs for the hardback covers. Mixed in with a great box to keep them in. The quality if the books included are of the highest order and stay true to the original releases with no changes. Much nicer page quality and texture which adds a nice lick of paint to the experience. Well worth the money for the amount of content you’re getting. The bonus being how nice the overall package happens to be.

I have bought this for my Fiancé for his birthday present as he has always wanted the collection. Was a bit scared of the corners coming dented but to my surprise it has arrived in perfect condition and sealed. Looking forward to giving him this next week...

Absolutely stunning hardback books in a Beautiful box. Nothing bad to say about them whatsoever I’m absolutely in love with them. However my box did arrive slightly damaged on the corner but nothing too severe. Overall I would highly recommend. They’ve made me fall in love with the books all over again

Heartbroken it arrived damaged. The outer box is very thick so the book inside just has a small dent I can live with. I would have loved it to be in great condition, but what can you do?! The books are great quality and have a lovely feel to them. Pity Amazon don't pack them better.

Ich habe lange überlegt welches Set der Bücher ich mir kaufen soll, da es unzählige veschiedene sowohl in Hardcover als auch in Taschenbuch - Format gibt. Zu Beginn, Auch wenn es andere bereits geschrieben haben, möchte ich darauf hinweisen dass man bei den englischen Büchern immer aufpassen sollte, dass man auch wirklich die Version erwischt, die man möchte. Scholastic hat nämlich den ursprünglichen Text von J.K. Rowling für seine Auflage (Amerika) geändert, wer also das original lesen möcht muss darauf achten, dass der Verleger der Ausgabe Bloomsbury ist. Ein guter Anhaltspunkt hierfür ist auch der Titel des ersten Teil: Philosophers Stone ist das Original und Sorcerers Stone die amerikanische Ausgabe. Dieses Set ist die unveränderte Ausgabe von Bloomsbury. Nun aber zu diesem Set. Nach langen hin und her habe ich mich schlussendlich doch für die Hardcover Version entschieden da ich weiß, dass ich diese Bücher unzählige Male lesen werden und Taschenbücher das schlechter wegstecken als Hardcover. Die sieben Bücher kommen in einer wunderschönen Kiste die mit den Cover Illustrationen geschmückt ist. Innen ist sie eine Art pink und hat ein Band mit dessen Hilfe man die Bücher herausheben kann. Sie ist aus dickem Karton und wirkt robust. Die Bücher selbst haben bunte Schutzumschläge in zwei Farben, die Rückseite ist immer in der Farbe in der der Titel auf dem Buchrücken geschrieben steht. Ohne die Umschläge sind alle Bücher ein sehr dunkles Grau, auf dem Rücken steht der Titel in Gold und die Innenseite ist mit den . Die Schrift hat eine angenehme Größe und das Papier ist sehr hochwertig. Ich habe mich für die Adult Cover Edition entschieden da ich mich in die wunderschönen, detaillierten Illustrationen im Stil von Radierungen verliebt habe und bin mehr als zufrieden mit diesem Set. Als großer Harry Potter Fan finde ich, dass diese Box ihr Geld wirklich mehr als wert ist, und dass sie mir lange Zeit große Freude bereiten wird. Die Lieferung war sehr zügig, das Paket ist nach drei Tagen bei mir angekommen. Ich kann dieses Set jedem aus vollem Herzen weiterempfehlen der ein hochwertiges, wunderschön designtes Set in einer tollen Box möchte. Wem das Design gefällt aber nicht so viel Geld ausgeben möchte, empfehle ich den Taschenbuchschuber mit den gleichen Illustrationen.

Harry Potter will forever be a favourite of mine so being able to add this vibrant set to my collection is amazing. It looks so good and the colours are truly beautiful.
