Cheap, and it works brilliantly.
I wanted an adaptor to join a memory stick to my Android mobile phone to view gopro videos that had been downloaded from a very old Gopro camera to our laptop computer. As it was cheap, I thought I would give it a go. It works extremely well, enabling you to view the videos without cluttering up the memory (storage) on your phone. Very simple to use. (Go to "my files" on the phone once it's plugged in, and then click on the new file that appears there) ps, don't forget to remove the connection from the phone (click on the three dots in the top right hand corner to do this) before you unplug the memory stick. Hope you find this useful,(we asked google how to do this).

Great Product
As others stated in reviews the cable and plug are very stiff. It's very difficult to unplug something once it's plugged in, so I've resorted to plugging in a 'USB port hub' (4 port tire) into the other end, so I don't have to keep trying to pull the USB out. My laptop only has the 1 USB-type c port so I keep it plugged in all the time in case I need to plug something in. Overall very satisfied with the product, just wish it was easier to unplug. I fear it might break something if I try though, so the USB port hub is staying put for now :) Recommended product, especially for the speed of downloads from a memory stick, but that's what you expect from a USB 3.1 anyway.

Cable and adaptor fine. Just don't expect Android to read NTFS devices; it can't
Works fine both with my Android tablet (over seven years old) abd my budget Motorola phone (about two). Just remember that Android cannot read any device formatted to NTFS, only FAT32 and eFAT, without help. This is not the cable's fault! Come on Google, this IS the 21st Century you know...!

Only works with certain items.
Tried a SD Card reader plugged into the USB 3 Female socket and plugged the USB C Male into the socket on the front of my PC. Didn't work. Plugged my spare DVD Burner into the USB 3 Female and the USB C Male into the socket on the front of my PC, worked perfectly, tried my Sony NW-A 45 Hi-Res Audio player into the Female USB 3 socket USB C once again plugged into the front USB Socket on my PC, didn't work. A bit hit and miss this cable unless there is something i don't know about regarding USB C.
