High quality questions, more difficult than the average CEM books. My daughter enjoyed them. Lovely support team if you have anything difficulty understanding questions or answers.

Good set of tests
A challenging set of tests for my child. There is an answers template at the front that you can photocopy and get your child to use (under exam conditions) and provides a good understanding of areas your child needs to focus on to improve. I'd recommend this to any parent who is preparing their child for the 11+ exam.

Good content, recommended as additional practice.
My 10 year old son liked these books and so did I. A change from CGP/GL Assessment/Bond papers. Good to practise as papers in tr months leading to the 11+ exams.

More difficult than other CEM test papers
I bought these and then found a very successful 11 plus tutor used the CGP test papers. The questions in the Eureka papers are harder than the CGP papers and those are harder than actual school tests. My daughter gets about half the questions right on Eureka papers compared to CGP so there is a risk of undermining the child's confidence. What I have learned is there are definitely differences in how hard th e questions are between different publishers. By harder I mean the comprehension questions require a lot more inference from the passage instead of identifying straightforward facts and the maths questions require many more complicated stages to get to the answer. It's no bad thing, but I do not recommend comparing your child's scores across different publishers papers. I should say my daughter hasn't taken the school test yet so I can't say whose papers are more representative of actual CEM questions. Never the less these papers have well written questions, include answer sheets and very good explanations of the answers for parents to tutor their children with.

good book to pass the time and learn a bit
You may be a lot older than 11, but I bet you will find you can not answer all the questions in this book.

Fantastic series of books, they are challenging and therefore pushing my son to a much higher level.

Many answers are actually wrong.
This book had my daughter in tears, and there's no wonder. When I tried to explain why she got the answers wrong, I discovered most of the answers were either wrong, or two of the answers could be considered correct. The questions are poorly designed, not just hard, in some cases absolutely impossible. If only I had bothered reading the other reviews here before purchase.I bought the Eureka! books because I normally support independently published material, but unfortunately this has left me feeling robbed. These books (I stupidly bought two, books 1 and book 2) are not fit for purpose. Luckily I had the other two in my basket and have been able to delete them before wasting more money.
