Great quality
This tap is fantastic, it fits my granite top as if it was made for it, it doesn’t swivel, no drips, looks fab. My Plummer who fitted it was over joyed she said she was going to get one and took the details. It makes the kitchen look stunning easy to use particularly if you have poor joints. Expensive but you get what you pay for, I would buy it again

Excellent quality tap that replaced leaky Franke Olympus taps
Have previously owned Franke Olympus taps but they start leaking and replacing the cartridges only fixed that for a few months. After the second Olympus started leaking badly - eventually from around the spout as well as around the handles - I decided to try the Bristan Monza. This was very easy to fit and feels very good quality. The levers' motions feels very good and is better than on the Frankes. It's early days but so far I'm delighted with this tap and recommend it.

Nice Product
Easy to install and really nice looking mixer tap. The only problem is the defuser that the water flows through does not give any mixing pressure so when you put washing up liquid into the bowl it does not give you a foam. So would not buy again.

A world of difference
I bought a new kitchen mixer tap 7 months ago, and it was already leaking and showing signs of ceramic cartridge failure and corrosion. As a cost-conscious, fussy engineer, I bit the bullet this time and bought Bristan to see if it was that different from the [much) cheaper options.Oh my goodness; it is a world of difference. A British-made item which, straight out of the box, oozed quality and precision manufacture; the easy-fix base is machined beautifully from solid brass, and the ingenuity that has gone into putting a screw thread onto one of the two inlet pipes that the flexible tails screw into is a game-changer. The latter means that you bo longer need to scrabble around under the sink to tighten the tap; an allen key turns the inlet turret to secure the base of the tap securely from above... genius! Those reviews that say that the 'ease' of the easy-fit base is defeated by thick worktops are misleading; it just means that instead of doing everything from above, you still need to offer the base plate up from below, but it still tightens from above. Also, those that say that the tap body is only secured by grub screws and could cause a major leak if it came loose: the close-fit of the tap body to the easy-fit base, through precision machining, means that the grub screws are only there to assure that the two items lock together; it feels very secure and there is no play whatsoever. The ceramic valves feel incredible, and the swan neck moves easily and with no play; contrast that to cheaper examples that rely on a grub screw to take up play on the neck. There seemed to be some confusion on the guarantee: the Monza tap is 10 years, and if it fails in the first year, Bristan will send an engineer out to sort it. Time will tell, but that is a pretty solid guarantee in my book.Lastly, the provision of flexible tails fitted with shut-off non-return valves was icing on the cake. On the strength of the quality of this kitchen tap, I have just ordered replacement taps for my downstairs loo from Amazon... also Bristan.
