These are perfect for one person households and can be used for so many things This particular honeycomb shaped one holds exactly 1 can of evaporated milk if you fill 3/4 in each compartment. Just pop them in the freezer with the lid that comes with and then pop them out of the silicone tray as needed when frozen, I use it in my coffee and other things that call for small amounts. I have some square ones that I fill with tomato paste or sauce, pop them out and use them in soups and sauces No more spoiling in the fridge Clean up is a breeze. I let them soak in some dishwater and rinse and air dry. These have so many uses. I highly recommend.

The lid could be thicker and deeper for a better fit. However, I am glad the lid is also made of silicon. This is not a big issue; it's just a suggestion.Here is the way I use it after reading many reviews:1. Soak the item in hot-warm water for 15 minutes, remove it, rinse with warm water, and then sock it back for another 15 minutes. Then remove it and rinse with warm water again.2. Use Q-tips to clean the cells. There is a thin wax-like substance inside them. Then, rise again with warm water.3. Wash both with light soapy water.4. Make ice cubes. Make sure to put this ice maker ON A TRAY to avoid water spills. The silicon tray is soft and the cover is not water spill-proof.5. Take the tray out and sit for 1-2 minutes before pushing ice cubes out from the bottom. Besides this 1-2 minutes allowed the cover to be removed more easily.6. TOSS all the ice cubes made the first time, then start to make ice again! Starting from the second time, all the ice cubes are good to eat.7. Remove the tray and place the silicon ice maker back in the freezer for the remaining ice cubes till all are gone.Why?1. Because of that my freezer is quite full and has no flat surface for the silicon soft case. Without a tray under it, water will spill and the cover won't stay good.2. Toss the ice cubes made for 1st time to avoid the smell and the taste.The silicon looks durable, however it's softer than plastic. And of course, silicon is better than plastic for health.Am I making it complicated? They keep the ice a little too insulated so it takes longer to freeze, and they're hard to clean, but they work well otherwise.I originally bought to make chocolates, but they don't work for that. I use them for ice since my fridge ice maker broke. I like that I can stack them and keep the ice covered/clean. And the ice is pretty easy to pop out

Perfect size, I actually don't use it for ice. I make yogurt and fruit bites to fill these and freeze. make a nice snack for the summertime. They are great with the release of the snack and I don't have to move them to a bowl I just leave them in the mold til all gone then wash and do it again. The design is great cause it lays flat and does not take up a lot of room...I have a few stacked in my freezer.

I purchased this product to take my melted beef tallow and duck fat and make it into smaller usable amounts and freeze it in the ice cube shapes. It keeps it fresh in the freezer this way. The tallow or ice removes from the silicone very easily. It is also easy to clean. The product is VERY PLIABLE. It allows for easy removal of the ice or tallow Therefore I put a sturdy plate or something under it to carry it to the freezer because it will bend and slosh out very easily if I don’t keep it flat when picking it up. I like how cute the shapes look! How fun!

Smaller than I thought, but will work perfectly

After buying the giant bag of lemons from Costco, I freeze the pure lemon juice in this super handy silicone ice cube tray. It's perfect for single sized servings for soups and salad dressings and sauces. My only issue, and it's a tiny one, is the lid doesn't stay on well.
