GREAT QUALITY!
Customers should expect that this plant will come to your hand as small portion. But the point of this plant is it's grow really fast and beautiful if you plant it the correct way. The quality of my package was great, I planted it in my guppy tank without putting root tab and it has grown to new leaf. So, do your own research first about any plants before you buy, you should be able to make your tank look more beautiful. Hope this help !

Best plant for starters
I bought this on a whim. Just hoping it would work,, well did they grow. I’m going to start by saying am I no means a person who has a green thumb. Ive killed Java fern. Ive killed snake plants. Ive killed aniubas. But this plant has never wilted on me. The only add on I do is I add 3$ root tabs in from Amazon. No fancy co2. It’s hard to find underwater plants that are red and don’t require co2 so glad I found these and took a chance (first picture is TRUE TO COLOR) I have floating plants which blocks out a lot of light

I was really excited…..
I ordered on Jan 13th and it arrived on 28th. That’s 15 whole days. I knew it was going to take a while to come when I ordered so that just built up my anticipation with each passing day. When it finally arrived the seeds/bulbs arrived in two separate sealed plastic baggies with half dead mush leaves and what looked like roots. I placed them in my tank and monitored them to make sure they were okay before planting in the substrate (When I looked online that’s what was recommended as they didn’t come with instructions). A few days later the leaves and roots fell off leaving the empty bulbs. I decided to see what would happen, “maybe they’ll grow back and I’ll be able to give a good review”. Almost a whole month later and there is no change, I think they are dead for sure. I have them under a fancy 24/7 timer light that gives them appropriate lighting throughout the day so I don’t have to worry about leaving it on too long or not long enough so I know it’s not the lighting that’s the problem. I’m really disappointed I was really hoping to have “Lily pads” in my tank, I even left a space in the tank for them. It looks empty without them. Maybe I’ll try again when it’s warmer or I’ll try going somewhere else.TLDR: Arrived dead, didn’t grow back, really disappointing. Try somewhere else.

Very hardy plant, but more green-brown than red.
This plant grew great when I got it, then I went to college and neglected it severely for about a year. I thought it had died. I was very, very surprised and impressed when it resurrected. So this plant is very easy to grow. 4-5" leaves, tends to be tall in my brightly lit guppy tank, and when it has enough leaves, it does a pretty good job of hiding my unsightly filters. I like it. I'm glad I own it.However, even with iron fertiliser, bright lights on a 9-hr timer, a potting soil substrate (what? I'm cheap. It's not a crime) and CO2, the plant is not the bright red in the picture. It never was, even when I was taking very good care of it and it was brand new. It's reddish.

Beautiful plant!
I was looking for a stunning plant to add to the left side of my aquascape. This plant came in just as the tuber. I planted it in nutrient rich aqua soil and it grew pretty quickly. I do have moderately high light and CO2 so it is taking off. I have purchased several plants from Marcus and all have been great.

Good but Bulb is not growing leaves or roots anymore
I purchased a year ago and it was growing beautiful long leaves then without me clipping them they started to get smaller. but after a couple months it stopped producing leaves at all. I still have one bulb but not roots or leaves. I have it about 1/3 in the substrate. My substrate is dirt capped with sand. it's a low tech tank so no CO2.All other plants are doing great. Not sure if my bulb will eventually grow leaves again or if I'm doing something wrong. Any advice will be appreciated.
