Grey's Anatomy - Season 4 [DVD]

Fantastic

This is probably one of the most riveting television series I have ever watched. The characters are all very believable and you get addicted to watching this programme with dramatic moments salted with humorous and funny moments. An endearing show.

I am a huge Grey's Anatomy fan, now on it's seventh season, and I have to admit that this is probably my least favorite season. Although there were the expected medical cases which always have the interesting edge, the characters fell flat, and the storyline, although clear, also fell below expectations. The introduction of Lexie, however, brought some redemption for this season, and brought renewed interest. Mark, after joining the show in season 2 as a recurring character, then a SGH doctor in season 3, brought about many laughs with his 'inappropriate for the work place inuendos', and Addison's return as a guest star was surprisingly not terrible. Although it is a must-see if you're a Grey's fan, simply for being able to know the storylines and be able to move onto season 5, I would say that if you've seen it once, unless you loved it don't buy it.

I only started watching greys anatomy at the start of 2013 so I am sailing through the different series and really enjoying the show.There has been mentions that series 4 is not as good as other series because it falls under the writers strike but I really enjoyed it. I love watching the interns now as residents with their own interns and love the arrival of Meredith's sister. And in a silly way they have a 60 year old intern who really makes me laugh.The biggest downside to this series is that its only a short one with just 17 episodes. Have the next series at the ready (season 5) because they really do flow onto one another and you wont want one without the other.

What can be said about this series that hasn't been said at length by other people?? You follow the doctors, their lives outside the hospital,their joys, their grief and EVERY other emotional response. All life is here, on the gurney or working around it. As in real life every time a person thinks they're getting ahead, life knocks them back down and then gives them a good kicking!!! But, moments of real joy and achievement mean they get back up and continue.If ACTUAL doctors life and training is ANYTHING like this I'm astonished that anyone would ever complete their training.FABULOUS series!

This series is actually brilliant. I won't give anything away, but the fact that it really does set up the next series so fantastically has left me gagging for more! Thankfully, I only have to wait until the 22nd of January.I can't wait for it be released so I can rewatch them again and again! Absolutely brilliant. I watched a trailer for the 5th series and I think we're all going to have some shocks in store, and that the Meredith-McDreamy relationship is never going to be easy! Anyway, buy it! Compulsory viewing.
