9Excellent pictorial history of the 29th Infantry Division
My wife's father served in World War 2 with the 29th Infantry and was very proud of his service. He went ashore on Omaha Beach with his division. We purchased 3 copies of this book, one for each of our sons. Her father had written a note to our sons and inserted it into an earlier version of this book. We scanned his note and pasted a copy inside the cover of each book before we gave it to them. It simply said "(names) ... read from cover to cover to understand."
