I wanted to buy some Xmas lights this year. So I bought these. When you get them out of the box they look quite pastelly. And when you plug them in in a well lit room, they are too. But when you put them up outside, they're great. They look festive and they are a few percentage points off the colours of dedicated Xmas lights. But you would never notice.They plug into the mains, and are suitable for external use. So we had them on the front of the house in wind and rain and what have you, and they did the job brilliantly. Superb.

Really pretty lights, they are ice cream pastels rather than gaudy primary colours. They could perhaps do with being a touch brighter but I bought them to go around my sun sail and have other lights/fires also. I was confused when I couldn't find the remote until I realised there isn't one-there is a button on the plug socket (not really a problem for me as I keep it on the consistent setting but a touch misleading). Well worth the money as they are cosy and cute!

Brilliant product at a great price, looks superb outside under our canopy. Have just bought a second set. Recommend.

These lights are great! Ideal for our coming family get together, not too Christmassy, but still could be used at Christmas as well. Various modes can be selected, including, most importantly "on all the while". Mains powered, with unobtrusive silver cabling. IP44 rating, so can be used outside. And, with 100 LEDs you get a good display, they also run cold to the touch of course. Make sure you select RGB for a multicoloured set, I nearly overlooked this, and you would then get an all white set.

Firstly i want to state the customer service is great! But they did tell me to keep lights out of rain exposure. Now these are rated outdoor lights and outside it tends to rain a lot, within a month these 'outdoor' lights lost 4 bulbs due to water getting in. So shouldn't be advertised as outdoor :(But they are sending out a new set which i guess I'll have to use indoors as it rains outside.

Cute. Not as bright as I would have liked. The lights when switched on are quite pastel but really this is my only beef. They work. They have cute settings and they are a nice size (cherry sized). Good product.

I bought these to use in the garden - I had some work to do first so only recently went to use them. They work fine & are pretty but I didn't realise that the lead to the plug goes into the top not the bottom as expected (and standard) on UK plugs!This means they won't actually fit in my waterproof outdoor socket so I can't use them as intended.I already have similar set up in my kitchen all year round so don't need another indoor set, will give them to a friend.I didn't even think to look at the plug design but will watch out in future!
