GREAT PRODUCT!
My husband is a commercial airline pilot and we've purchased back packs, used company issued satchels and they were never "enough".This bag is WONDERFUL! I am so glad we bought it. My husband tote's this bag everywhere, everyday.Would highly recommend.

Great flight bag with great manufacturer support!
First off this bag is pretty amazing. it is smaller in size than I thought however it also fit more than expected. Its possible to organize all my flight gear and some personal items I always fly with and still have some room to spare. The pockets are of a lot of different sizes and allow for really good organization. My bag was missing a side pocket however after calling brightline they sent me the pocket right away with now questions asked. One bit of advise, YKK makes zippers....use them. The zippers are ok but YKK zippers would definitely be much smoother and easier to operate (especthr large ones that combine sections). Despite the ridiculous price tag I would buy this bag again and recommend it to friends...you definitely get what you pay for

Wish I had bought this earlier
This seems to be the quintessential flight bag in the airline world. Bought this the day after I was released onto the line and my only regret is that I hadn't bought it earlier. This bag is ridiculously versatile and I have never been left wanting of a pocket for something. The B7 is LARGE. It's a little cumbersome if you're a commuter travelling with other bags. If you just use it for day trips or it's the only bag you're bringing with you, it's perfect. For most trips, I just leave the laptop module behind (making this a B4 bag). I can slip a MacBook Air between the modular sections with ease.Long story short. Highly recommended!

Fantastic modular product
Fantastic modular product. Note - who you get this it is hard to zip as it is shipped flat. It gets easy once you work around the corners the first time. I bought an extra front pocket piece after getting this. Now I have work and fun fronts and can zip them on and off and head out with the right gear. Excellent design, durability and quality. Fantastic customer service. Fast and full of solutions. Impressive. My only dislike is the color large stitched logo on the front. It just looks childish. I took a black sharpee to it and made the color go away! You'll probably want to do that too. The colored zippers are a godsend as you get to know what color zipper holds which part of your gear. Buy this! Hope my review is helpful.

Pilot bag B7
I have ever wanted this bag and now that I have it , I’m so happy. It’s elegant and so useful, all my items are into the my bag and more and still it’s not too big for carry on with me. I can put it into the airplane without any problem.

Works for me
As an airline captain, this bag works well for me. Perfect access to my work tablet, my glasses are easy to get to and it can also accommodate my 13" Mac Air.I would recommend to the manufacturer that the entire bottom of the bag be made of rubber to include, perhaps also coming up a quarter or half-inch on the side edges. The rubber feet alone, with its current design do not properly isolate the bag canvas from wet roads and sidewalks. A rubberized bottom would prevent water seepage on rainy days as bags are offloaded and set down on wet roadways from hotel/crew vans. Winter salt is also an issue in its current design, as salt permeates the bottom and sides of the bag canvas causing white crusts of salt.

All show and no go
It's been almost a year now since I started using this bag full time as a pilot working at a major US airline. I wish I could say good things about this product but I can't and I want to prevent others from paying this hefty price tag for what amounts to a terrible product manufactured with shoddy materials and backed with an even worse customer service department. If you plan to use this bag to hold your craft making materials or to separate your art supplies, I'm sure it will work perfectly - just don't plan to move the bag.At this price point, I was expecting something as tough and rugged as my Stealth roller bag, It's also expensive, but worth every dime. After 16 years of use and abuse, every zipper continues to operate perfectly and the material, although stained in some areas, continues to be strong and protect my belongings. Not so with the Flex B7. In less than a year, I've had 2 of the smaller zippers break into pieces, and I've had the larger zipper separate on 4 different occasions causing my "modular" bag to split into several pieces. Luckily, in every case, either I've noticed the problem or someone I was with mentioned to me that my bag was "falling apart". (Thank God since I carry expensive electronic flight bags, head sets, cell phones, flash lights and other important flying gear.) The final straw was when I tried to open a compartment holding my eye glasses and the zipper wouldn't budge. Despite using all my strength, the zipper was stuck. I ended up using my back up pair of glasses (in another compartment) and opened up the problem compartment with a knife when I got home. Also, just in regular use residing next to my seat in a Boeing 737, the bottom of the bag has become incredibly worn and paper thin. Again, this is in just under one year of use. This bag comes with a 3-year warranty so I sent pics of the offending zippers and areas to customer service. I was promptly told that this was normal wear and tear, and I "must have dragged the bag". No, I did not drag the bag. Did I sit it on the cockpit floor? Yes. Curbside? Yes. On my hotel carpet? Yes. All normal places, but no, I didn't drag it. Besides, the broke zipper is on the front of the bag, not the bottom.Again, for this kind of money I was expecting something more than a cheaply made, yet fancy-looking gym bag. I was expecting the professional durability and quality I've grown accustomed to with a Stealth bag. My mistake. Please learn from it. Time for another bag.
