So, I got this for my 10 year old who LOVES to sing. As I gave it to her, I said, "This is for you so you can listen to music in your room, just please try to keep the volume down." HAHAHA Funny Mom! I no sooner left the room, and she had the mic and music volume up and she was performing her own concert in her room, which could be heard throughout the house! While this can get to be a bit much after awhile, I will say she absolutely loves it, and it was money well spent. It's easy to use, even for a 10 year old. It looks nice. The volume gets loud enough (trust me on this) although nothing compared to a top dollar sound system. I would recommend for children or anyone who just wants to play some cds at home or the office who doesn't want to spend a small fortune for the luxury.

My 10 yr old granddaughter loved it. The lights and music is great but the microphone didn't really work right. Everything else was great!

I enjoyed singing along on YouTube karaoke videos. This is a lightweight box radio cd player and this gen xer loves hers.

I got this as a birthday gift for my sister. She just loves it. Other reviews complained about the mic cord. While it is a little short, it works great. She has the karaoke machine on a tv tray in the den. This was perfect for her. No thumb drive or smartphone needed, just put in a cd and start having fun. No cd? No problem, just use the radio function and sing away. Just remember, this is an inexpensive machine so do not expect Carnegie Hall quality.

We have owned this for 6 months and now the speakers are starting to go. Not worth the money at all.

The CD player is great, but I purchased it specifically because it had a microphone with it. But the cord has to be wiggled and held in place in order for the microphone to work. There is also no volume controle for the microphone. It goes up or down with the music volume.Had I known the mic wouldn’t work I would have purchased a better player for a better price.

Great cd player, karaoke machine. Very stylish, great sound. Gave as gift to child and it was a big hit!
