Steve Jobs is best known for being a co-founder of Apple Inc. Before Apple Inc., he was a brilliant designer and inventor who approached business with an unexpected savvy and joy of discovery. Jobs created gadgets that transformed todays digital era and leaves behind the legacy of a true visionary. Review: So interesting, with an aftermath of Tragic Notes. - There are interesting aspects to this story I never imagined. Steve Jobs was never conventional, but a brilliant and creative marketer. Elizabeth Holmes was part of the original staff. One of the dumbest moves in Corporate History was when the Board replaced Jobs with a non-tech bureaucrat. Fortunately for Apple, and Disney too, they got him back. We probably would have developed AI sooner, with more benefit to the people, if he had managed everything longer. He died too soon. Review: Fantastic intriguing read! - Walter Isaacson's writing style is fantastic. Countless insights, expected and unexpected, covering a broad range of his life. Highly recommend!

Excellent writing by Isaacson
Unlike the biographer who wrote the biography of Warren Buffett, "Snowball", Alice Schroeder - that I thought could have used a lot more editing, Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs (nearly as lengthy a book) was far better written. As such, the entire story was engaging and informative. Whether you are a Jobs fan or hate him, the story is an excellent one about an American icon.

What a great biography of a great man.
Walter Isaacson has written some great biographies; this is one of them. Steve Jobs created a future that has benefitted the entire world. Living through my memories as Walter describes Steve's timeline was a great recall of just how 40 years ago, none of it existed. The bits and pieces of history that I recall were vague; after reading this book it all made sense. Steve Jobs was brutal with his passion which is what made him so great (and creative).

Great Biography!
I really enjoy Walter Issacson’s biographies. He’s a very talented writer and not afraid to show the good and bad of who he is writing about. This book on Steve Jobs is amazing. Awesome history about the start of Apple as well. Highly recommend!

Steve Jobs
If you want to know more about the man who completely disrupted, successfully, personal computing, music, and telephone communications this is the book for you. I read it many years ago and will revisit. I bought it for my grandson who is starting university in business. Steve Jobs was one hell of a visionary who was able to buck tradition and turn the world on its ear.

Classic biography of technological genius.
Another brilliant biography by America's master biographer. Not only is Isaacson a master storyteller his style is exceptionally readable.
