Delivery - the company delivers on their own vans which cover parts of the country each day of the week, so they can quickly say what day it will arrive, then the day before the driver rings to say what time in our case it was within 5 minutes of his predicted time!Assembly - we had a negative as while my husband was assembling it he found a problem, took a picture and sent to the suppliers. They immediately realised they had sent a wrong part, apologised and sent a replacement. Although we didn't send the photo til 4.30pm, the replacement was with us 9am the next morning, so a negative was turned into a very positive customer service experience.The bed the went together very easily - just one person can do it. If you can put together a simple Ikea Billy bookcase, then you can handle this. Its very solid indeed, we just re-tightened the bolts after a few days as recommended and there are no squeaks or creaks. (My husband is 27 stones so if he says its solid, its solid!).Colour - we left ours untreated plain wood, but if you are looking for a bed to paint and match to a décor scheme this is ideal.We actually got this to replace a big iron bedframe that was looking too big in our new smaller bedroom, and its worked a treat, with no high footboard it makes the bedroom look and feel much bigger. Another advantage we didn't anticipate is that the wooden frame had a rim around it, which stops the mattress from sliding about which was a problem with our old bed, and can be an issue with divans.

Great bed frame, only had it set up for a week and a half so can't comment on longevity but it certainly feels much more solid, stable and quieter than any metal frames in that price bracket. It's good quality wood, we painted and waxed ours but it looks good in its natural state (though I'd probably at least wax/stain it to protect it). Like the manufacturer, I'd recommend assembling first and then painting, instead of doing the parts individually.Assembly is fairly straightforward but a bit long, took me a bit over half a day alone, but might be shorter if you're two. No particular tools required, just a tape measure and screwdriver; and a drill if you want the side legs for heavy duty support (they don't have pre-drilled holes, but they're optional).Delivery was fine but be warned that with their own carrier, you cannot actually choose the day of the delivery. You can always ask for it to be postponed but it will be on a certain day depending on where you live (eg if the date they gave you is on a Wednesday, then they can only redeliver the next Wednesday, not another day in the week). Worth checking with them in advance if you need to take a day off to receive it.

Took 3 hours to build. This wasn't the most fun I've ever had on a Sunday but a bit of common sense and you shouldn't have too much trouble. I built the majority of the bed by myself with a little help from my partner on leveling the centre beam supports while I screwed them in. The only tools required are a hammer, a Phillip's screwdriver and an Allen key (included). Well worth the money and infinitely better than the divan that we replaced. I would happily recommend this bed to anyone.

Its a solid bed and the wood materials are quite good i will only suggest to wrapp it better as in the process of being deliver it could suffer damages mine only had a little bit of wood chips but i could be much worst and then i will have to sent it back

Solid wood very strong bed for a cheap price! Kudos to the seller. I love the smell of pine wood. Easy to assemble you just need to follow and read properly the instructions. I bought two bed 1single for my mother in law she loves it and 1king size just the right size to my kibg size matress. The height is superb not too tall not to low.

This is a great value for the money. We put it together in about two and a half hours without much trouble. It really helps to have a power torchwrench. You could do it without it, but it would take you much longer. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I highly recommend this bed frame.We have slept on it for over a month and it feels very sturdy.

Pretty much exactly as described. Plus points... Value for money, fairly straightforward to assemble 👍Negative points... Manufacturer needs to send out correct quantities of screws, wood dowels and most importantly the frame bolts 👎I was given around 60 dowels, 40 screws and 2 bolts that didn't even match.Had to go to B &Q to buy proper sized bolts 🙄

Fairly easy to assemble , 2 people required.We added screws to the slats where they met the centre strut . This makes it sturdier. Sometimes the instructions vary from reality, but just follow your nose when putting bed together. Was pretty straightforward..Not a bad bed for the money.
