Funtime Gifts Laser Sphere - Dual-Use Mood Light & Light Show Projector

I bought this as a gift for my youger brother as a mood light for in his room. He enjoys dimmed lights in a dark room in the evenings and he absolutely loved it. Before I gave it to him I opened it up and plugged it in to test it out and I have to admit I was tempted to keep it!!It's so relaxing to watch all the different patterns on the ceiling when you're in bed, together with some nice relaxing tunes this could be as good as getting into a deep meditation. The colours change from red to green and blue with shades of purple. You can leave the plastic round cover on which will leave the lamp as a dimmed mood light but I (and my brother) prefer it with the plastic top off we can enjoy the lasers and the amazing projection on the ceiling fully. This is definitely worth the price, makes a very nice and unique gift and is very good quality. It does feel a bit like cheap plastic but my brother has been using it every night for hours for months now and it's still as good as new and in good working order.It's a shame it doesn't have different settings or different colours but for what is available on the market and the pricing, this is probably one of the best options. Most laser sphere lights around his price range might project just far enough on walls but wouldn't be able to project clear patterns onto a ceiling, but this one does do a perfect job at that.I've done a lot of research into similar products and star laser projectors but those are much more expensive and I was not looking to invest that much into something I was buying for the first time. This product made me consider looking into a more expensive one, just cause it gave me a very pleasant experience of how this can make me relax and improve my mood before sleep.The colour change cycle repeats but the structures and patterns are different all the time so you're not bored of it very easily. If you're considering buying this as a gift, this would make anyone happy.

It actually gives a stunning effect -but the disappointment was that it stopped working after only 3 days! We opened it up, (removed the fours screws on the base) and found that the switch had burned out! So we removed the wires going to the switch connection, connected them together instead, and now it works well again -with only the on-off switch not working. ~So its works via the main instead i.e. comes on when plugged in, and off when unplugged, not when switched on/off. An effective product other then this problem with the switch -both with the circular effect, of the multicoloured light moving patterns in the globe, and with the top 1/2 sphere removed, it gives a lovely light show on the ceiling -both eye catching for our baby!

Very fast delivery! Got this unit on my bedside cupboard. I'm really impressed at the quality considering what it cost, having two light effect options too is impressive, if like me you suffer from insomnia then this has to be a great way to relax stress free and hopefully drift off to sleep...(I'm thinking of plugging in a timer in case I do fall asleep) it has an on/off button on the unit which is useful as you don't need to fiddle about unplugging it. I think this unit is excellent, the lights create a beautiful ambiance and sensory room, just add your own electronica music to enhance your enjoyment!Love it! in my opinion you can't go wrong with this. No hesitation in recommending..

Pretty good for the money.Projects a nice bright pattern which will take up your whole ceiling.It would be good to have an option of just projecting the red laser light, as the blue/ green can be a bit bright.

This is good fun, produces a bright mesmerising light show. Top tip: remove the lid for the full effect! I initially thought it was rubbish till I discovered the top half of the dome shown in the photo lifts off. Once you do this the amount of light produced is dramatically improved! It reminds me of the light effect on the warp engine in Star Trek Voyager (geek reference I know), but that's the best way to describe it. The light effect doesn't come out well in photos or videos, you will just have to take my word for it that in a dark room you will get a light show covering an area of approximately 3x3m. The module also tilts which is quite handy if you want to cast the light to another location in the room. Note the unit produces a slight mechanical noise in operation, but this is very quiet and unobtrusive. Very relaxing, would recommend!

The light is decent quality but I wish there was an option to change the settings. It cycles very fast through red green blue, changing roughly every 1 or 2 seconds. The red is very dim and the green is very bright so it's difficult to use as a night light for a baby because it flashes like a disco.

really pretty but the lasers broke in mine after 2 uses :(

The lamp is plastic and to be honest considering the money paid I was underwhelmed by the light. Decided to keep the item anyway but a week later i turn it on and its broken so sending back anyway.

Este artículo que se comercializa para España no cuenta con un enchufe de clavija para el sistema español sino que viene con el de Inglaterra, ademas en la descripción del producto no aparece ni foto ni referencia a este grave problema.Ahora tengo un producto que necesita invertir otro 50% de su precio para poder utilizarlo. Una vergüenza y considero que una mala práctica comercial.
