Fantastic model - Worth every single penny
This model is a wonderful kit and quite simple to put together. As you can see from my images I opted not to mess about doing all the different colours for the containers, so purists look away now! I got this as I wanted something to practice airbrushing on. The main part of the ship and containers went together with great ease, no need for any filler at all. The tower was a bit more tricky, but I a little time and sandpaper with some white plastic filler the job was done. There is SO much detail in this model but that was not the purpose of me building it, it was purely for airbrush practice. As models go for the money it is my view it offers amazing value. If you like painting detail then you will get weeks of pleasure out of making this. Also, and this is important, you can get an amazing fininsh out of the box, no need, like with many ships, for all the aftermarket expensive stuff.

Really nice kit, goes together well, painting the containers though does test your boredom threshold lol but once done looks great on any shelf

excellent model but...
The model was delivered in the manufacturer Revell box which is not strong enough for the rigours of amazon shipping.

A nice model when finished
A nice model when finished. The only part that takes any time is the painting of the containers.Sadly these come in large blocks, so there is little to making them. All done in less than a day.

The model is great and very realistic, but you should know that it is a hard work to put together and paint it. The model comes all grey and the final result really depends on your painting skills. It is super fun to do it, but requires many hours of work. In my case more it took more than a month working long hours during the weekends to put together.
