Entry level
I'm using this for gaming and quick chat, it's a basic keyboard at an entry level for gaming, in a well lit room this its OK to read the keys. Wish I'd bought a back-lit keyboard instead.

Worse
I do not recommend this keyboard to anyone, the LED is missing, it's not comfortable when you're writing, and the keys themselves are horrid. It's not for a gamer. but you can guess all this and more from the price. I bought it, I tried, and I took it away with the refound.Do not trust the review by five stars.

Inexpensive, high value
For just north of £10, there isn't a lot to criticise here. It's more or less what you would expect of an inexpensive keyboard. Unless you expect it to fall to bits, which mine at least isn't showing any signs of doing at present.Full size gaming keyboard? Perhaps. With a couple of exceptions, I usually find keyboards notionally dedicated to a specific function are a gimmick, and this hasn't changed my mind. A handful of red keys that can be swapped in? OK, they lend an air of purpose to the proceedings, and perhaps a small psychological edge if you're into gaming. From the particular selection of keys that you can replace with red ones, this is evidently pitched toward 1st person shooters. I had my fix of those with Doom and Doom II when I was a teenager back in the 1990s and I haven't played regularly since then. I don't recall looking down at the keyboard regularly though, since there was rarely time assuming you wished to get on with the serious business of eviscerating a zombie with a rusty pen-knife, so I'm not convinced different coloured keys will be of much benefit. Still, it doesn't do any harm, so why not? And the games around now are somewhat more complex, for better or worse, so it may be of use. That apart, it's OK. It's not really that much of a dedicated gaming keyboard other than the keys. Some other reviewers have picked up on the fact that the keys themselves don't have an especially positive feel, which is fair comment based on my use. But they have reasonable travel and are fairly solid, so all OK there. The lead could be a little longer, but that's a minor quibble. The folding legs for angling it are a bit on the flimsy side, but should be fine providing you don't hammer the keyboard like a woodpecker. As far as size goes, it's moderate -there are larger ones, but it's not excessively compact. The plastics and general build quality seem excellent for the money, it was instantly recognised in my Win10 64 system, and has performed flawlessly. For this sort of price? Recommended. It won't replace your high-end Microsoft (or whatever) type, but it's not supposed to either, and providing you're not expecting miracles, it does a decent enough job. Fair play to them.
