Nice screen. Well made. Bought it because of it’s simple design and it fits my fireplace opening perfectly.

It's a good screen especially if you are unable to retrofit it inside - We used heavy duty double sided tape and its been pretty stable - I do wish there was a locking feature to prevent toddler from opening the door though but I'm sure you can install a 3rd party part. Overall sturdy and good choice if you're retrofitting.

Nicely made, easy to assemble. Four out of five for satisfaction. What it needs is two pre-drilled holes, one at each upper corner, to secure to the fireplace wall. Currently it will pull away from the wall when you open the doors. I was able to make that fix and now it works fine

This screen is so pretty and durable. I wish I had purchased it years ago! We have had at least 20-30 fires in our fireplace and the screen is still like new!

I can’t believe how exact it fits into my space with just an inches on each side. Instead of putting the second bottom braces, (which would keep the screen several inches away from being flush with my fireplace) , I put them on the top which stabilized it into the space so it doesn’t tilt when we open it. (See last picture). For the price I’m very happy with it. If you don’t look close it looks like it came with the fireplace insert. The screen is thin and may dent easily if a log ever fell into it but you get what you pay for.. and we have something inside to help avoid that. I like the size of the small screen tho..one of the other ones on Amazon has huge holes and I know our wood would pop and be a problem so picked one for that too.

We converted our wood burning fireplace into a gas fireplace and this was the final touch, we left off the pedestals at the bottom but they were included and would be super easy to install

The wing nut anchored legs are weak, with one actually snapped off at the base. The screen is over all attractive and will still function, but that was a bit disappointing.

This works so nice! I love the fact that it opens on both side to get to the fire. Extremely stable and a nice look grate.

Both of the wing nut brackets broke in the first month of use making this ‘free-standing’ $120 fire screen a ‘free-leaning’ $120 fire screen. Replacements would be nice but would likely have the same problem.
