Extra Large Cat Carrier with Bed

I was looking for a carrier for my cat... This carrier has a lot of room for my cat Puma it came with a cushion inside.. It's very safe for Puma I love the safety locks it's not hard to put him in or take him out.. And I'm ok with the color... Great buy

We bought this extra large carrier for our cat who is just slightly too big for a regular size carrier. We set it up right away so he could get used to it before his vet visit. He climb right in and took a nap. I thought that maybe after the vet visit that he wouldn't use it anymore but it has become a safe space for him. While our cat likes it for how spacious and comfy it is, I love that it collapses flat and that the door is removable. Now that it's just a hangout place for him, it's great that the door is not a tripping hazard for us humans. When the door is attached, its easy to load our cat in.

This is a great carrier, but it's unwieldy to carry due to its size and, because of its length, it did not fit long-ways against the seat in my car. I had to place the carrier perpendicular to the seat. Nonetheless, it's roomy, my cat can stand up on long drives, and it folds flat. Overall, I'm not disappointed in my purchase. Just wanted to advise that the XL size is truly XL.

I use this to take take stray cats to the vet, and it's perfect for both capturing them and cleaning in case they have an accident. I can easily put the cats inside without stressing them out. The bed it comes with is nice and soft, and washing in case on of them has an accident. FYI about the size: I originally ordered the XL, but even with some of the massive strays I take in, the XL was huge. I returned the XL and bought the regular size. Unless you have two adult cats or a cat that weighs 30 pounds, the regular size is just right.

Truly, this thing is awesome. The big door options make it a breeze to get my cat inside, and it’s sturdy and roomy for him. I love that it folds up and that it sits securely when angled in the car. The only issue is that the handle is small and placed in the center. So it kinda swings him around or bumps him against my leg as I’m carrying it. There’s no easy way to just pick it up and walk with it, without hunching over and torquing your arm. My cat is 24 pounds (!!!) so I need it for the size, but it hurts my back to walk with it so low to my center of gravity. It could use a wider, shoulder strap type adjustment… or a wider, angled handle like a baby carrier.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this for my 15 lb cat after realizing he hates the car because he needs more space. This is big, kind of awkward for my 5 ft 2 self to carry but I’d rather he have the space, and he has A LOT here. I also leave it out with the door off 100% of the time and its his favorite bed, even when we get back from the vet he’ll go right back to it. He’s much happier in the car now, even for longer distances, it’s like night and day to how he was before. I’m able to secure it in the car by weaving the seat belt through the back slats, so it feels safe for travel.

I love this carrier. I have a cat that is terrified of carriers. This one has the door on the side that makes it so easy to put the cat (or small dog) inside the carrier in a less stressful way - vs. shoving them through a small square or rectangular opening. I got my cat used to it by keeping it out in a room with a little bed inside so he wasn't afraid of it. It is sturdy, easy to fold out, and folds flatly so it's easy to store and not take up a lot of space.

The design is outstanding, but one of the side tabs to keep the kennel standing right broke off the first time we took the cat to the vet. I think if they used a higher grade plastic this would be an outstanding product. I love the fact it flattens and that I can lock it down that way as well as the ability to fit several cats in there if necessary. It's also the perfect size for kennel pillows. Our cats loved using it and I would give it 5 starts if it weren't for the broken plastic happening within the first week of use.

This is a great carrier and bigger than I imagined, even though I had measured it out. I easily transported my two new Burmese cats from the breeder and there was no struggling to access the cats or put them in. It was easy to carry. I had put some anti slip fabric below the cushion provided ( note to manufacture to add non slip fabric to the cushion base). They could move and stand if they wanted ( although they were understandably freaked out) and I left the door open once I arrived home and let them exit in their own good time. They even stayed in it overnight that first night in a strange place. . It folds down like a dream and is in the airing cupboard for easy access. Well worth the money.

Es de buen tamaño, hay otra con puerta azul que es más grande, esta es unos centímetros más pequeña, siento que del tamaño perfecto, tengo un gato grande de casi 8 kg y cabe perfecto, siento que tiene el espacio suficiente, no va muy apretado y me gusta el diseño porque siento que no es como las transportadoras regulares que parecen mini cárceles, y creo que estos colores son los más bonitos a diferencia de otros modelos que manejan, pero todas están bien. Siento que esta pesada, y luego con mi gato de 8 kg queda súper pesada y es muy complicado cargarla, (o quizá soy muy débil o quizá así pesan todas las transportadoras, no sé, es la primera que tengo) entonces sólo la llevo en coche, pero estaría bien comprarle unas rueditas o un carrito para poder transportar a mi gatito mejor en ella sin perder el brazo.

I want to write the most positive review about the cat carrier. Lightweight, comfortable, easy to assemble, not too big and not too small for a large cat. My cat was sleeping on her favorite cat tree… I just put the cat carrier next to her and left. Five minutes later I came back and recorded this video. If you listen closely, you can hear my cat purring with pleasure. It was very unexpected and pleasant. My cat has chosen a new place to rest. I hope my cat gets used to the cat carrier and a trip to the vet will be less stressful.

I have a BIG kitty, who has tons of room to chill in this carrier. He needed something that was 18" minimum. It's super durable and easy to open, close and collapse - but hard to escape out of it unless a little kitten. Since it's a massive cage, when your chubby cat is inside it takes both hands to carry. I'm small and I manage just fine. The bed that comes with it is decent, I put a liner underneath to stop it from sliding around and scaring my cat more. He still hates it bc he knows it's a carrier, but once he's in he's much calmer and can lay comfortably in the car. I volunteer with kitties in need and prefer this way more than standard carriers. My option #2 are the ones that open on the top.
