No. I do not reccomend this blender.

We use it at work and I think it's very powerful although we only use it for pans of soup and for liquidising vegetables. The only problem we have is that the thread for taking off the head wasn't very good. It used to be really hard to remove for cleaning and now we can' get it off at all. It's not really a problem though, more of an annoyance.
